Benares - Modern Indian Restaurant & Caterers

So I was invited to give this restaurant a try. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. Walked in and was greeted and sat. The restaurant was very nice. My friend and I were served by a great group of servers and managers. We had a variety of food, but the shrimp and pepper chicken were the best! I enjoyed all the flavors and variety. This restaurant is byob. I truly enjoyed my time and my meal!

Very nice staff/service and very good food. Haven't been to an Indian restaurant with seafood on the menu before. The crab dish was excellent and I'm looking forward to trying the other seafood options. The first time I ordered was take out which was well packed and delicious so that is another option. Overall I recommend checking it out. The Atom Bomb dessert was great as well as the homemade orange ice cream.

I had a great time eating delicious food at Benaares Indian Restaurant. The waitresses were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and welcoming and I definitely liked that they can customise spice level for all the customers ( Mild, medium or spicy ) Most importantly, every food and drink on your menu tasted great! Their chicken biryani is really popular and shrimp curry is very aunthentic, they have lunch buffet as well which is worth all the money! And its only $16.99 with alot of options! I would recommend everyone to come and try their food.

Great food! Firs time here with my brother. I've always seen those Indian street vendor videos selling the Pani Puri shots- this is the first Indian restaurant I've come across that has this. It was really good! My first time having the Kasmiri Pulao- so good. This might be my new favorite Indian restaurant. Will need to try other menus items.

Went here for dinner on a weekday and it was relatively empty, great customer service, and amazing food.

We ordered the Kashmiri Tikka for appetizer, paneer gravy for entree and Garlic Naan. The food tasted very flavorful and was not spicy. Garlic Naan was extremely soft and we called for extra since it was so good.

They had high chairs available and the fried snacks that they provide for the table kept our toddler engaged till food arrived.

I did a bridal tasting here yesterday. The food was mouth watering. The staff was friendly. The owner Ranbir Ji was knowledgeable, accommodating, and hard working. My whole family had one of the best experiences eating here. We are seriously considering them for catering soon! Really really enjoyed and highly recommended.

Although I am not too fan of spacy or heavy seasoned foods I was invited by my Indian descendants friends to this place and let me tell you I was so impressed with the quality , presentation and flavors of the food, chicken Tikka holly $@&# just to die for, didn't enjoyed foods that contains dairy because I am lactose intolerant but I heard they were delicious too, in general this place changed my perspective of Indian food, it's modern and well executed, I would recommend calling a reservation before you go, highly recommend

So delicious! The lunch specials are such a great value. You get an appetizer, entree, and a dessert for less than $20. The mango lassi is a great complement to cut the heat. They even gave us a lentil dish on the house. Plenty of food for lunch and had leftovers to take away. Will come back!

We had an excellent selection of Indian cuisine. Trying many appetizers and sharing our entrees. The staff was attentive, the food quite memorable. We will certainly return.

Great Indian food with a really good variety of choices.

The amazing food catering services. Everyone at my reception enjoyed the food. The lamb curry it was on point. Me and My fiancé went for food tasting. It was just yummm. The pani puri my favorite. I can definite can go back there and dine in.

We didnt have reservations on a busy saturday night party of 5. buttt the owner was willing to accomodateand moves some seats and tables around. THANKYOU!!. the service you get here and food quality is the best. We loved all our dishes .We have tried them all and this is our favorite. Thankyou to the owner and thankyou for the staff..

It was very delicious, very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The place is quiet and a little dim. During the day it appears they serve a buffet style lunch.

The food is delicious, ambiance very soothing and the owners & staff very courteous. All in all great restaurant. I tried their vegetarian lunch special and I haven’t had the kind of Nan in any restaurant in the area, just perfectly made, and so were the curries..

The mulligatawny soup was the best on the east coast. Brings you back to India. The tandoori chicken, garlic naan, chicken vindaloo, and Malai kofta were heaven. Ranbir Bhakta set the stage like he was welcoming us into his home in New Delhi. Original from Bukhara restaurant in New Delhi. Why go to India when you can come here!!!

We had booked this for a bday party last sunday..the staff is really good ,friendly and helpful. The decor is warm, the food was great and all the guests liked every item in the buffet.

Creative, exciting, genuinely delicious food. Shockingly fast service. Staff is friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We've been twice now and the experience has remained consistent. We will absolutely be back.

We took our friends to Benares in Wyckoff rather than their usual Indian restaurant that they've loved for years. By the end of the meal, they had a NEW favorite Indian restaurant. The food was tasty, beautifully presented and plentiful. The service was impeccable even though we chose to dine outdoors. The waiter made great suggestions and we ordered items we usually would have passed over, but we were so satisfied and surprised. Can't recommend enough.

Went in for dinner with a friend. Outstanding attentive service, great food. Ordered Kandari Murgh and Lamb Vindaloo with a side of Garlic Naan.

Food here is super delicious. We ordered lotus root, diwani handi, kachori, kashmiri tikki, shahi paneer, Malai kofta and garlic naan. Everything we ordered was five star quality. Staff is really welcoming with great customer service.
