When having to replace the roof on your home it can be a very upsetting process due to the extensive cost involved. We are 100% sure we made the right choice going with GARC.
We had seen at least 3 other roofing companies and only Ryan was interested in going into my attic to see how the structure of the home was and make sure there were no issues from the inside out.
He then explained the issues we were having and what GARC would do to fix these with their new roof system.

When we met with the other roof companies we felt they would replace the roof but were not comfortable with them.

Pricing was definitely and issue and when we weighed all we did not go with the cheapest nor the most expensive. GARC was very competitive and with their warranty we felt that was most important for the future.

Stephen and his crew finished our job in one day when we were told at least 2. They worked from dawn to dusk to get our job done.

A week later and we had 3” of rain fall. The home was perfectly protected and no issues.

GARC is a family run business and not a large conglomerate. They are extremely accommodating and friendly to work with.

I cannot recommend them more if you are looking to replace your roof.

Highly recommend Great American Roofing Co. Ryan helped us figure out where our roof was leaking and all the problems with the old install. The price was better than a couple others with a 50yr warranty. Install day was great. Crew was very professional and did a great job. They left the yard very clean. All around great work!

Details:
After meeting with 3 other companies in the area, we ultimately chose GARC based on its Master Elite GAF status. We have a friend in commercial roofing who told us how distinguished and important it is. They unquestionably live up to the hype.

Ryan was our salesperson - he came to the house at our convenience. He thoroughly explained the entire process, let us touch the materials and ask questions. We were given a very reasonable quote (based on calculations our friend did for us ahead of time) to replace our home and carport roof with the highest standard shingle as well as replace all of our gutters and downspouts including leaf guards.

Andrea helped schedule us for installation and was understanding and accommodating when we had to reschedule. There was a 2-week lead time. They took care of all the permits for the dumpster, etc. (which the town made very difficult for them - definitely went above and beyond on this front).

Steven was our project manager and he came with a large team at 7am on our scheduled day. They worked hard all day long, finishing the project about 4:30pm just as daylight began fading. They were respectful of our property and landscaping, cleaned up after themselves thoroughly, and were courteous.

Roof looks great and we are very happy.

They were knowledgeable, professional, honest, friendly, and helpful. No pressure, and no requests or questions were left unanswered. What could have been a painful and stressful experience, turned out to be a smooth and easy process.Their expertise and friendliness added to the overall positive atmosphere. And to top it off, the roof replacement cleanup was perfect. Larry and his team went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and satisfying experience.

We just had Great American Roofing finish their work on our house and they did an excellent job. Not only were they efficient but they were fast, bringing in two teams and finishing the entire job (3500 sq fr + roof, chimney takedown, new gutters, replacement of some rot) in two days. They are a local family owned business, so knew our area well and took care of all of the permits as well as dealing with any town officials that stopped to check in on the project. They left the worksite spotless and swept the entire property for nails afterwards as well!

Replaced a roof with them last month. They got the job done in 1 day instead of 2. Fast reply when I contacted them for a quote. From 5 contractors - they were the ones who showed the most interest in the job. Price was definitely fair. Gave a professional quote and advisory. The whole team was available, courteous and on time from start to finish. A pleasurable experience. I definitely recommend them.

While looking to get my roof and gutters replaced, I received about 10 estimates from contractors. I ultimately decided on GARC because Ryan listened to my concerns and came up with solutions for them. Ryan was also very responsive and answered all my questions right away. Even after I received my initial estimate and wanted to change some things, Ryan provided a new estimate right away.

We had some weather issues that kept pushing the date back, but GARC kept me up to date.

For the job itself, the foreman was super easy to work with, answered all of my questions, and provided updates as the project went along. The foreman was also the first one there and the last to leave and stayed throughout the whole project, not just someone stopping by every couple of hours. The workers were respectful, efficient, and kept the work site as clean as possible.

I am extremely happy with the overall craftsmanship and would recommend GARC to anyone looking for a roofing contractor.

Ryan (salesman and initial contact) was knowledgeable, able to address concerns both on the inside and outside of our home. He explained/discussed exactly what we needed, quickly lining up a date for our job.

GAR did an amazing job! We got nearly 8 bids. No one was close to being as professional as Ryan explaining the job and Stephen running the job, he was on site every step of the way to solve problems and answer questions. I have a fairly large roof, shingles were on in a day and gutters the next day. The office was very friendly and pleasant. All for a great price. Our entire experience with GARC was pleasant, easy, and reassuring. We needed our roof replaced on a short timeline and they accommodated that. Everyone we worked with or even spoke to on the phone was very professional and kept us informed all through the process.
Ryan, the salesman, explained our options very thoroughly, and did the most extensive inspection of our roof and attic out of anyone else who gave an estimate. The work was actually performed ahead of schedule, and the crew was efficient, pleasant, and left our property very clean. Stephen, the foreman, was there for the job as well, and took plenty of time to explain how to maintain the attic fan and how we can avoid future issues with the roof that we have had in the past.
In addition, the cost was in line with other estimates, but we also got a new attic fan installed and higher quality shingles than what other contractors proposed to use.
We are very pleased with the work and the overall experience, and we would highly recommend GARC and hire them again in the future.

I needed a new roof installed due to leaks when it rained.
Ryan spent an hour with me going over the job, materials, and warranty. He beat my two other offers by 25%.
Steve and his crew came to do the job. They were on time both days, worked non stop, and cleaned up immaculately.
Larry the owner stopped by several times throughout and made sure the job was going smoothly.

My roof was replaced in January, (a cape w/ garage + 400 sf extension), and The Great American Company "do what they say and say what they do". Very, very efficient and professional. I am very pleased with their workmanship!

What can we say about the owner Larry and son Steven and Ryan and Team besides AMAZING!!!! I had a horrible roofer 22 months previously ruin our home with a terrible roofing job that caused us to have completely damaged sheathing and mold in the entire attic / insulation. Larry and CO saved the day and helped us thru the entire process both mentally and assuring us everything would be done correctly. The roof / attic turned out AMAZING and with all GAF products, we can again sleep at night. This really makes you want to have the right company do the job, the bad roofer experience we would wish on no one. Larry was always ready to answer any questions or concerns. I now consider him a friend as well as our roofer!

We had the roof replaced on our house, garage and barn. Steve was the Forman to watch over entire project,I would give him a 11 if i could,he even added a cricket to the rear of our fireplace chimney. We couldn't ask for a better person, job whent smoothly the crew got all done in 1 day including new gutters. Every scrap of old roof picked up and gone. We are extremely satisfied with GARC company from the beginning of our first contact until the completion of our roof. Wow! I've never left a review before, but I just had to say Larry from GARC was a lifesaver. He led me through the whole process of all it takes for a legitimate roofing company to complete a project to it's full potential, no cutting corners, which, after showing him my contract offered by a local roofing company, he was displeased with the vagueness of the job description, and helped me revise the contract, not once, but twice.Larry's guidance not only helped me through it, but in a silent way helped the local roofing company realize what it takes to complete a project professionally.
