BRU Burger Bar - Plainfield

I’ve been to this place a couple of times before posting my review. I and my hubby really like this place. Blu Moon is always fresh, tastes so good. We tried burgers here. I went for the March special teriyaki pineapple burger, and it was so tasty, fresh and juicy. My husband had bru burger. The other day we had salads, I chosen Valencia. It was so delicious. Mouth watering. My favorite so far.

First time here. Great menu selection! Burgers were really good and one of the few places who offer onion rings and onions straws!!! Sweet tea was yummy!!

Wow! My husband is occasionally in Plainfield for work and he always RAVES about Bru Burger, we were recently in town and decided to check it out. It was great! The food tasted “homemade” and fresh. I ordered the soft pretzels which come with beer cheese and spicy mustard. The pretzels tasted fresh, not frozen, and I loved the beer cheese! I also had the Bru Burger, which was absolutely delicious! It comes dressed with Taleggio Cheese, Bacon, Tomato Jam, Caramelized Onion, Chopped Lettuce and Mayo. The burger had just the right amount of each topping that each was noticeable without overpowering the other. My husband ordered the breakfast burger and fries, which he said was great, he is a HUGE fan of Bru Burger Bars house ketchup. Our son had a kids cheeseburger and fries which he loved! The restaurant is gorgeous for a burger joint. Despite us visiting on a busy Sunday afternoon our service was great and our waitress checked on us often. Bru Burger Bar is a must try! We will definitely be returning

Love BruBurger! From time to time I choose something other than a burger. For this visit I ordered the small Valencia salad with added grilled shrimp. I love this salad! It is fresh and always good every time I order it.

My go to burger is the Mexicali. I have been fortunate to have good service when I go. For the most part, no complaints with Bru. It’s always a safe bet!

Enjoyed a unique and decadent burger and sandwich experience. We enjoyed the Honey Chipotle BBQ burger and the Provencal. Both were enjoyable and more than enough food. I ate all of the former and my wife found the goat cheese on the Provencal a bit to much, she will order with less sauce and cheese.

The service and atmosphere were comfortable and friendly. But it did take a bit longer than desired for the food to be prepared, and even when we came before the rush. Still overall a good experience.

Will probably come again.

Stopped in at this great spot as I was staying around the corner at the Courtyard Marriott Plainfield and had time for lunch. It’s a really nice casual burger restaurant. I really liked the Bison Burger; salads are huge, and the bar has everything. Highly recommended.

This particular burger was recommended by our server, and it was solid. Could easily have added a second patty (was going to ask, decided not to) but the toppings totally worked, the beef was on point and the bun wasn’t overpowering. Best of all it was cooked perfectly. Had onion rings (less carbs than fries?) & they were terrific. Wonderful service, plenty of parking if you have a few minutes to drive around. Nice place, would love to return!

My husband and I went to Bru Burger on Saturday night and had a great evening. Our burgers and sides were great, but the service was the best part. Our server, Alexander, was so friendly and attentive without hovering. We will definitely ask for him the next time we go!

I’ve been to several of the Bru Burgers and they have all been delicious. My favorite burger is the bbq bourbon, it’s delicious. They have a good selection of local brews and hand crafted cocktails. I specifically love that they have outdoor dining. They are consistently good and you can count on getting good service.

Superb food and excellent service! You gotta try the chili cheese fries and the burgers are terrific. Come hungry cause the servings are LARGE! Then finish off with one of the truly delicious shakes!

We had a group meeting with about 30 of us. We ordered ahead and everyone was only sitting about 10 minutes before food started coming out. During the whole training waitresses were filling cups and being on top of it! Great experience

The burger was great...The peach white chocolate bread pudding 😋...It was so good, we went back the next day...I got a salad...

Victoria our server was amazing. We go to this location alot. We always receive good service but she went above and beyond tonight. Highly recommend to ask to be seated in her section.

Food was good.
Chicken fingers were way overdone.
Hard to get a "medium" pink inside burger....always well done.
Booth seating was extremely tight, could hardly move between seat and table top.

Originally went because I heard they have a good Bloody Mary. It’s hard to find good ones that aren’t premixed. I was not disappointed and it was tasty. Went ahead and had a meal while there and the food was great. Had the lamb burger. Omg. 🤤 very good. Also ordered the charcuterie board… it was good but would not order again only because it’s not worth the value they charge for it. But also, when is charcuterie ever appropriately priced? Was a great option to have.

Food and service was awesome. I had the double burger. For dessert had the brownie. Out of this world. We will be back when we are in town again for business

We arrived 20 minutes before close and were able to dine-in. Food was on point - BRU burger and truffle white cheddar burger. Nice margaritas too.

Came in about 45 minutes before close and felt bad but the bartender gave us excellent service. It was swift service attentive service, the cocktails were very good and the burger was the best restaurant burger I've had in my entire life. I had the snack size burger with a side of fries and house-made ketchup. Their ketchup is actually really good and so are the fries not two peanuty like some places can be. 10 out of 10 experience and will definitely be back.

The people are wonderful here. I have always been able to get seating with not much wait or no wait. The last time I was here I had their awesome Quinoa Salad with grilled portobella mushrooms and I am not much of a salad person. The salad went with the smooth Bru Margarita. Another visit I got the White Chocolate Peach Bread Pudding and it was sumptuous. The Pear Cosmo was recommended and was perfect for the dessert. Of course this place is known for their burgers so I tried their standard cheeseburger and it was very juicy.

Food is always good here and they have a good beer selection. Their ketchup is the best.
