Tom's Pancake House

Wish I would've taken a picture. We had grilled chicken salad, a chicken wrap, and the kids Mac n cheese. Everything was good and well put together. Great prices. Glad they expanded their hours. Check them out.

I placed a call in order and it was brought out to me as soon as I arrived. Fast and friendly service. And the food? OMG it was so good. I tried the Irish Skillet and I was very pleased with my meal. Very generous portion sizes, light fluffy eggs, excellent packaging….I’ve definitely found my new breakfast spot!

Had an awesome breakfast. Great Customer service! Ordered the steak and eggs ribeye came out a little too rate they put it back on and it was fabulous eggs were cooked perfect too and very good. Did not care for the hashbrowns as they were more like a clump of potatoes. Pancakes were also tremendous. My wife had the Buffalo chicken tenders and fries and she liked those. Very large portions and great pricing. If you have not experienced this establishment I highly suggest it. Very big menu also. Thanks Uncle Tom's for the great breakfast we will be back!!

Great food for the price! I love their daily specials, but their waffles are hands down my favorite (crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside)! One of my favorite breakfast places in town.

I came with my family for a college visit at ISU. We were seated right away and the restaurant is very clean. The smell of fresh pancakes in the environment is delicious. The Mexican skillet was good. The eggs were cool to perfection. The hash browns in the skillet needed a bit more grated onions to improve the taste. My kids loved their pancakes and my wife liked her strawberry crapes.

Very Waffle House-esq. Food was fantastic. Service was adequate. Overall, I give 5 stars because the food was so good. Pancakes are great and the meat skillet hit the spot.

5 stars. Great food, great service. It's an old fashioned diner so base your expectations accordingly. We'll be coming back again.

Growing up, authentic Mexican food was all I ever ate. The chilaquiles from uncle toms is phenomenal, the beans taste just like home. 10/10 would recommend

Great lil gem hidden next to the Motel 6. That visit their only negative. Food and service were good.
Note: their default cheese is "American" so be sure to ask for a substitute if needed.
Our server was on task, attentive, and carried a sense of happiness to each table.

We just happened upon this place! The food is very good! I got a skillet, and my husband got the steak and eggs. The steak was VERY well seasoned and cooked exactly as asked! The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive and the food didn’t take long to get to our table, and they were swamped!! I heard one person complain about the fee if using a card to pay! Why should small businesses have to eat that fee!l?!?

Was really good I dont eat meat and the waiter recommended me options on the menu that didn't include meat and they are really helpful. I fully recommend this place

Great service 😊 and big portions. The kids loved it. They do have a kids menu. Easy stop from the highway. It always feels good to support local small businesses.

Just moved to the northside of Normal and was ecstatic to see we were so close to Tom's. Cheap (10-12 bucks/person, big serving), tasty, incredibly friendly staff, great small diner vibes, and it always feels like they have room no matter the hour. I will be eating here regularly and I highly recommend it!

Everyone was very nice. The food is the perfect portion size. Usually eggs Benedict are a hit or miss. And they hit really well. absolutely love this place will return

Just breakfast food, good portions, and nice folks. Uncle Tom might be gone, but the skillets live on.
