Great Lakes Ace

Very helpful service, although they didn't have what I originally went in for, (and I was unfortunately "one" of those customers pushing a quarter til closing time, not a SOUL in there working gave me a bad look, or made me feel like they were answering my questions to hurry me up so they could close up.) This hardware store was staffed with very intelligent, kind, & courteous personnel! Almost ALWAYS, someone has an attitude near closing time. I REALLY try to not ever be "that" guy near closing. I had a project due where in-laws were coming over and had to do something, I saw their hours and dashed for it. I bought a few things I didn't even really need just because of this. I highly recommend this Ace's Hardware location. Also, a big bravo to the one who hires people here. You do a heck of a job, and those who DO work here, you get a bravo as well. I highly recommend this facility over any of them.

Mason was above and beyond helpful to us as we bought a Blackstone griddle last night. He helped us figure out what we should buy, made sure we knew about great deals, helped us load it into the car and even offered to stay open a few minutes late so that we had time to come back with a bigger car because it wouldn't fit in the one we brought. He's a high quality employee! Thanks Mason!!

I could spent all day at this store. Yes it's smaller than your big box stores but that's what makes it great. The employees are so knowledgeable take the time help you with any questions or projects you're working on. Stop by a couple times and you'll get to know the staff which does t happen at other places. They are willing to order a products and the timing is always on point. Thank you Joel, Dan and Robert for your outstanding customer service.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Went in for generic lawn fertilizer, left with iron supplement, recommended based on my lawn condition. Always helpful every visit. Thanks! Worth the little extra cost for their knowledge, advice and local location. Especially when you just need a bolt or washer. Save the 15 minute drive to big box stores and shop local!

I came in looking for license plate screws for my car, and one of their associates went above and beyond and took out several screws, figured out the right ones and installed them for me. It made my trip here very pleasant and quick! Fantastic customer service, and I will definitely come back if I need to.

Very friendly staff with lots of inventory. For the most part, I always find what I'm looking for. I've been coming here for years and I've always been treated exceptionally well.

Ace has a better selection of nuts and bolts than your typical big box hardware store. The staff are knowledgeable. You won't have to roam the aisles to find help--they typically have an employee staged at the front door, ready to help you! It's a much better experience than today's big box stores!

They have what you need, they are close and helpful. The employees don't hide and aren't running all over 4 football fields to take care of some corporate task so they don't rush you when trying to find some obscure part. This store is a great example of what the chains goals seem to be.

Great employees. Very friendly and helpful. Good supply of a variety of common hardware and home/garden items. As expected a bit more expensive than big box stores, but very convenient.

I love walking in and always being greeted by a Red Vest asking what I need help with or what projects I'm working on!! Prices might be a little higher than other big box stores but the smaller size and friendly staff make it worth it!!

I have always liked the smaller scale hardware stores. This Ace is very near my house, so it's far more convenient when I need to pick up small hardware, a single lightswitch, etc. Unfortunately they don't have hardwood lumber, which means I still have to go to the big box stores occasionally, but for most quick home repairs and small projects, this is a great, friendly community store that keeps you out of the blue and orange stores.
