This is my favorite place to eat in town. Huge part of the heart and soul of Corvallis! Local legacy that we can’t live without.

Great people, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Delicious food. I love their salads! They use the best greens and veggies, it tastes fresh out of my grandmas garden! They make great deviled eggs, brownies and PB cookies, pumpkin pie and other treats.
Today I had a delicious lavender lemonade! New favorite!

Not too far from campus makes it a great spot to relax and get some great food and make some friends. They brew beer that keeps us coming back as often as possible. This is one of the hometown favorites that people love and can’t get enough of. Always a delight. Quick friendly service too 🤍☺🥳✨👏🙌

I got the Reuben, it’s was delicious! The chips were okay. There’s a fun selection drinks as you wait in line, even have sprite in glass bottle. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, pay to park unless you don't mind the other side of the bock or the next block. date-worthy location. reasonable price.

Loved Old World. I got the pastrami and the nutty vegetarian and both were amazing, and actually complimented each other really well.

To go orders are packed with a couple pickles and a healthy amount of super bomb house made chips. Nice bonus, also smoke their meats in house.

The drink selection is also pretty solid. My new go to for a quick take out sando 🔥

Great sandwiches, salads, quiche and more. Good variety of beers on tap. Local wine, hard liquor and desserts. Check out the Live music Events calender which is online. Most of the time there is mellow music for Sunday brunch.

Great sandwich spot. Deli items. Quiche, salads and soups. Music and other entertainment. Local brews.....draft beer and a fine bottled beer assortment. Good choice of non-alcoholic beverages such as tea and kombucha or jun.

Oh my god, Ruben sandwiches are the best thing your money can buy. I am overwhelmed with the flavor and tenderness of this sandwich. I took it out, so I had it after 30’ints. I can’t imagine how good it will taste if I have it there.

Next time I should try it there.

Delicious breakfast! Didn't expect much when I came to Corvallis for training. Didn't think Corvallis has a hidden gem like this one. Great service! You order and pay at the cashier first and the food will be brought to your table when it's ready. They give you a really cool table number from a deck of cards. Interior design is very fun with ceiling paintings and had a stage. Highly recommend.

Came down for open mic night. 1st Sunday of each month 5pm to 8pm. Had the pulled pork sandwich and the IPA from Oregon Trail Brewing. Both were absolutely amazing! Friendly and welcoming staff. Bathrooms were near spotless which was impressive given how busy they were.

I had the Mediterranean Sandwhuch on sourdough. The meats are super high quality and the veggies are fresh. House made chips are really good on side and the pickle is super fresh and yummy, pretty sure homemade brine as well :) good work!

Old World Deli has a large menu of available sandwiches, chili, soups and other items. The sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and are tailored to your specific requests. As a bonus, the sandwiches are boxed with tortilla chips. We enjoyed our experience here and recommend the sandwiches for anyone wanting to eat inside a nostalgic seating area or as a carry out lunch on the go. Great place and friendly staff!

I had the pastrami and a stout. Staff was polite and fast with food delivery not just to me but over 40 folks attending a "meeting" while seeing regulars.

Just some beautiful people making beautiful sandwiches and brewing beautiful beer in a beautiful old building. 10 outta 5.

Updating this for Covid Times:
While an indoor eatery, they do their best to keep the air following with open doors and fans. This is the one place in america where all staff are properly wearing masks. The sandwiches are a little lighter these days, but still tasty. Good place for lunch takeout!

Want to try something a little different from the hipster eateries and gonzo fair found elsewhere in Corvallis? The Old World Deli with its impressive sandwiches and eccentric decór may be just the place for you. I'm a vegetarian most of the time, but when I am full-on craving a meaty sandwich, this place hits the spot. Their Reuben sandwich is tasty and filling (one usually suffices for two meals, in my case). If you're never into meat, though—or you're just into different kinds of meat than corned beef—don't worry, this place has a large and accommodating menu. Unless you're seriously gluten intolerant, in which case avoid this place. Speaking of accessibility, be forewarned that although you don't need to traverse any stairs, there are some uneven spots in the floor (it's old building—all the more charm for it!).
The Deli often has live performances and other goings-on, which you might just happen upon any old night of the week. The last time I was there, a troupe of belly dancers was performing. Totally unplanned and quite entertaining! The Deli also boasts "the world's best brownie," or something to that effect... They should've called it a mediocre brownie, and then I woulda been like, "This is AMAZING," but since I was expecting the best brownie in the world, it was really just kinda average. *shrug* They've also got daily specials like meat loaf and are usually serving up a soup or two. Plus, if you overeat, the Deli is only a block away from the riverwalk in case you want a stroll afterward. ☆ﾐ(o*･ω･)ﾉ

Very fun atmosphere. Beer was fantastic! I was there on the first day of their new dark beer from Oregon Trail Brewery, called Bourbon Barrel Porter. Smooth, dark chocolaty beer. Delicious! Got to talk with the Brewmaster (featured in the photo) and discuss his beer and brewing history.
Their beef chili is great with onions & cheddar cheese, paired with their cornbread, topped of with their brownie. Superb!

Went in for lunch today and had a very tasty salad with the thousand island dressing. The dressings are very awesome and salad size is "The Big Salad". The chip and pickles are to die for. After lunch I bought a LB of their Roast Beef, after all its a Deli. Love this place!

Fantastic sandwiches and beer in a cool laid back atmosphere. I had the pulled pork and it was moist, flavorful and delicious. I love Thier Saison beer. What's fun is I won a free treat too. ❤

An actual sandwich shop in Corvallis! They make really good sandwiches, they make good beer and if you're lucky they got live music too. A hidden gem in my opinion.

Great sandwiches! Stopped here on a motorcycle trip through Corvallis last summer, and loved the food and atmosphere of the deli. Came back with the rest of my family and we all loved it.
