Plato's Closet

I've never sold here. I'd give it a try. I'd recommend bringing in a small batch, they're picky but you'll make at least $20 first go if items are new, clean, and trendy.

Always a pleasent and cheap place to shop. You can also sell your clothes here which is amazing. Very kond staff that is always willing to help if you ask. Highly recommended.

Update. They now require face mask when you enter. Kudos to them to trying to keep everyone safe.

Plato is for the younger generation my grandaughters shop here all the time. I shops here now I found some nice items I can't where their clothes because like i said it's for the younger generation. I found a nice purse, earrings a pair of shoes. Because shoes any age can wear and also purses long as it doesn't look more like for the younger generation

Great finds and prices are fair, and lots of sales, the staff is friendly.

I had a small problem. Heather was awesome and she helped me with kindness and maturity. I really think she went above and beyond to help. Thank you Heather . And thank you for keeping our children safe. I will be back for sure. I’m bringing all three of my daughters there for school shopping. Thanks again 🙏

I love this location! The staff is so friendly and helpful. My daughter and I have been in last minute (not on purpose) and we were treated so kindly. I definitely like this Plato's more than the one in Merrillville.

I thought Plato’s was strictly for young people. I am in my 50’s and decided to stop in to pass time while heading to the Mexican restaurant next door.
I found really nice clothes , scarves and sweaters at a great prices ! They have something for every age and the designer purses are HOT!

As usual, I had a great time and found many great things during my visit! The employees are always friendly and helpful.
This visit they had a difficult time getting a security tag off a shoe I wanted to buy. They remained calm and very kind despite a pair of rudely complaining people behind us. I admired their kindness and calm regardless of the criticism. All in all this whole endeavour took a mere 6-10 minutes. I've never had a negative experience there. These people do all they can to help and keep the store in order. I appreciate this place. It's a shining example of a shoppers dream.

I've been to several Plato's Closet locations throughout Indiana, and this one is my favorite!

I love this store I have been shopping here since I was in 4th grade! I love how they have so much range of clothing and I actually found my favorite pair of jeans here! I love getting cute blouses and track shorts here! The staff is very nice and they keep the store very nice. I really recommend getting the card there too you save lots of money! Also I love they ask if you want a bag but if you don't get one then you get another stamp. Very awesome store 👍

Heather is the absolute best! She really made the difference in helping my daughters love their gifts or the ones I bought not so much. Plato's has my business and I can't recommend the store and Heather enough.

The staff is so friendly and helpful! I’m never disappointed when I bring in items to sell! The store is clean and they have amazing items to purchase and look through. They also have so many name brands for amazing prices! This is my absolute favorite place to shop!

Personality is key to making a great first impression, The staff are great and show interest in helping customers. The cashier is always trying to inform and keep u up to speed on things. Sales , etc.

Both Johnny & Jamie were super helpful when I made my visit. Johnny marked down some of the clothing I had purchased and gave me a great deal on all the scrunchies he had left. They were both very friendly and easy to converse with. I definitely recommend a place with quality customer service & one of good taste :). Thank you both for such a pleasant experience!

Favorite place to shop by FAR!!! I love the employees and how it is a family run store; much more personal. Throughout the many years that I have been shopping at Platos closet, I don't think there's been even one time that I have left without buying something. I can always find something whether it is casual, fancy, sporty, or an accessory, you will find it here!!

I love how the store has so many new things coming in from buys every day! Every time I go in there I always find something new and exciting. Also being a student in college really limits my budget and time. I love that I can buy excellent, quality items at cheap prices. The staff are always very helpful and go out of their way to make sure you find what you want-whether it's a certain brand or article of clothing. I will definitely be going back to shop.

Haven't been to a platos in years. My oldest daughter visited from Florida and we went. Had the bag sale going. Took 1 1/2 to get through the line. However everyone was so nice , patient and helpful. Will definalty go again.

I truly love coming to this place. So many cute items at such a great price. I love that they have plus size clothes, something I haven't seen at any other platos closet!! Also, the staff is so wonderful. Those girls are always working hard and are always willing to help as much as they can. I am so glad I found this place. ❤

This is a awesome store. You can buy from shorts to a dress for a special event. The clothing is like new and trendy. They sell jewelry shoes etc you can complete a entire outfit. The store is always very clean and organized. They even sell great designer purses at at affordable prices .. The staff is always super sweet and very helpful. I'd like to give a huge Thank you I lost my wedding ring. They found it in the store and had it locked up. I was so Impressed and very happy to have found it wasn't stolen. Upon enterring this Plato's I was greeted and had immediate employee engagement. This establishment was clean, neat, and easy to navigate. The employees were easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. I sold them items and recieved way more than expected back in a cash offer. All the items in the store were clean, current, and very affordable. Overall my shopping experience was a 10/10, and this is hands down, the best shopping and selling experience I've had at any Plato's Closet
