Philips Ace Hardware

I went here to buy potting soil & they were the cheapest. I hadn't been in an Ace Hardware in years. I was shocked at how cool it was! It had everything you woykd need. Also they have so many "gifts." I'm having a hard time finding the right words? They have an area in front, off on the side "decorations," like wind chimes, knick knacks, & things you'd see in a Hallmark store, or a small Mom & Pop store in town. I know I'm not giving this explanation "justice?" It just was a big surprise to me.
Plus the employees are so polite & helpful! Go in there & check it out.

What a great place. If you can't find what you're looking for, check out this place. More than likely, they will have it, and if they don't, they can order it for you.

This is the BEST place to get the advice and the materials for small home repairs! They always take good care of me, no matter how frazzled I am when I walk in. I love this place!

If you're looking for a gift shop, run by a local family business, this is a good one.

Absolutely wonderful service and staff. I have been here before to purchase various items, have keys made, etc. However our last visit was above and beyond expectations. A bolt had come loose on my sister's walker and we needed a certain type of nut to secure it. The bolt on the other side of the walker was also loose. A staff member immediately came to help us to find the correct nut. Understanding our problem in being able to make the repairs ourselves he immediately fetched a couple of tools to make the repairs himself. While it only took a few minutes of his time it meant so much to us. We thanked him for his help. We also mentioned it to the staff at the front of the store and they responded that they are always willing to help. Highly recommend.

Needed a patch kit for my steel toe boots at work, Walmart didn't have any, so I went to ace, the guy didn't know if they had that, looked it up and I found something temporary until I can afford new boots, helpful staff

I had a copper water line project and Matt helped me out in getting everything I needed to get it done right. I have no plumbing experience and he told me exactly how to do it. It was so easy after he told me what to do step by step. He saved me at least a couple hundred bucks that a plumber may have charged me. Thanks Matt and thanks Ace!!!!!

The level of service at Philips Ace Hardware is beyond exceptional! They are always willing to help with the utmost knowledge and patience! I know that I can count on this store for any of my home improvement needs! They are the BEST!!!

Love this hardware store. I had 5 different people ask me if I needed any help today while I was shopping (big list of items), and a couple of times I did! A couple of them knew just what I was looking for and couple had to ask someone. But they all helped me when I asked for help!

I always feel like I'm stepping a bit into the past in here, but in a great way. They are always well staffed with knowledgeable people. Yes you may be able to get 25 screws cheaper at a big box store, but you won't get the help you need, nor the quality of merchandise. Ace tends to carry things that help you fix what needs to be fixed, but only 1 time instead of over and over because of product failure. I am willing to spend a little more to get the help I need finding the right fix the first time.

Needed some new fasteners with lock washers, they had a good selection and were very helpful. I always go here for fasteners first because they are helpful and have many useful fasteners. None of that ever happens the the home depot

I went to this Ace today looking for a water testing kit for my Water Softener. The man who helped me was absolutely WONDERFUL! He was so helpful and knew exactly what I needed. I was so impressed that I then asked about the Tick treatment I needed for my property. Again he went out of his way to find me what I needed and also had another associate assist. She was checking products on the internet as well as reading labels to get me exactly what I needed to effectively treat my yard! Not once did they seem bothered or that I was taking up too much of their time and the store was VERY busy! I will definitely be back to shop again! The customer service and availability of products was phenomenal!!! Keep up the great work!!!

If you need to rent a storage unit, this is the place to go. All the ladies have been very nice and helpful. In my case they went above and beyond, I have no negatives.........at all! Thank you very much
