Sunrise Family Restaurant

1st time eating here. You are greeted as soon as you walk in. The menu is easy to read. The food was hit and delicious.. The cinnamon toast was different, but it was really good..

We stopped in after doing the 3 Dunes Challenge at Indiana State Park, and we were starving. It was pretty busy, and they told us it would be about a 15 min wait, but they sat us in 5 mins. We waited awhile for our food, but they were super busy, and we were not in a hurry, so it was fine. Melanie was our server. She was new, but she was really sweet and apologized for the wait a few times. She kept our coffees and soda full and was very attentive. The food was amazing. We had a skillet, the meat lovers breakfast wrap and Anthony's Special. All were warm and delicious!

Always GREAT FOOD! I have tried all the skillets and by far my favorite is the polish skillet! I also recommend the Alex's Special if you love biscuits and gravy! The restaurant is very family oriented and staff is patient and always on the ball!

Good food and service. The fried chicken and the rolls are delicious. Spare ribs are good. Not much meat on them though. The green beans were firm and seasoned with herbs. Two large parties arrived just after we did. The servers somehow stayed on top of things.

Great place with kind local people. I hadn't been here in a while and the breakfast was better and faster than expected! The country breakfast gravy on a bowl or plate of food is solid!

Best French toast I have ever had!! It was like eating a custard pie. Service was fast and the waitress was right on top of keeping my coffee cup filled.

Yummy. My favorite breakfast place in Chesterton. Awesome menu selections and yummy food! Haven't had anything here I didn't like. The staff is always super friendly too.

Wonderful service! Our waitress even separated our meal for us because my aunt and I shared the chop steak. Fast and attentive service.

If you're looking for a hearty meal and local atmosphere, this place is for you. The Irish skillet was delicious.

All the staff was warm and welcoming. My son and I traveled to the area to visit the dunes and found this nice place for brunch. The food was excellent and fairly priced. The atmosphere was so family friendly.

Good is great and so are portion sizes. Prices are good for portion sizes. Service was excellent. Restaurant is always spotless, including bathroom.
