Such an awesome place to have a vibe. We are and drank and we am were treated to a fun karaoke night every Thursday!

Arguably the best bar in the heart of Stone Town. It has really beautiful urbane/contemporary decor, which is frankly a welcome sight amidst the centuries old Omani architecture that's everywhere one turns in Stone Town.

The cocktails were amazing, and nothing beats the sunset view from the rooftop bar. There is also an extensive whiskey, ordinarly & sparkling wine & local beers selection.

The staff were friendly and offered fast service. The WiFi is free, fast, and blankets a substantial chunk of the property with just a few 'blind' or 'dead' spots. The food was great, too.

There was also a brilliant DJ on Thursday evening, and the music added to the already awesome vibe & ambience. 9/10.

Hung out with friends in the open air portion of the restaurant. View of the Indian Ocean in the background. Great food!! Atmosphere and quality is reflected in the price…but I thought it was worth it!

We ate a 6 Degrees South twice during our stay in Stone Town, Zanzibar. It was recommended to us by our travel consultant and also the concierge at the Park Hyatt where we were staying. We were seated in the rooftop bar area as requested and the views were wonderful.

We ordered drinks and had the ceviche appetizer at each visit. The drinks were well priced and I could watch the bartenders making them. G&T's (Bombay Sapphire) were half the price of other restaurants in the area. The ceviche was smallish, but tasted good and was served in a bowl surrounded by ice. Nice touch.

For mains, we ordered two different pizzas and the catch of the day, king fish. Everything was tasteful and well presented. The service was quite efficient and we were consistently well covered by the staff.

Beautiful establishment by the ocean. Upon walking up the steps you are greeted by a nice small bar great smells and music fills your ears. I went for dinner and they had a live band/karaoke soloist playing hit after hit.

I was greeted and sat right away. Kennedy my server made some suggestions on the menu but it was different then the menus others had posted online. Some similar items but also some had different recipes and prices.
I tried their Ice tea cooler and that was nice on a hot night. I should mention the seating area is outside and the have multiple fans pointed at guests to cool them down. I didn't have any issues with flies or mosquitos while eating. The room was spacious enough to not hear each other's conversations either.
For a starter I got sweet plantains and they were cooked just right with a decent portion amount. My entree was the BBQ half chicken with coconut rice. This was filling on its own.
I didn't get any desserts but I saw others enjoy theirs. The table of 26 had a birthday boy so all of the staff and the band sang happy birthday as they paraded around the table celebrating.
I was able to pay by credit card or cash and overall had an amazing night for less than $30 USD for one person. Highly recommend for a nice night out.

We were seated almost immediately, and had a most amiable waitress. She took our orders and brought us a fan to keep the air cool around us. When a better table became available, she moved us to that spot. The service was excellent! The staff is quick and responsive. Now let me tell you about the food...
This is the best meal that we have had in Zanzibar! The food is fresh. It is served hot. The menu has a variety of flavors and options to choose from. From the drinks and appetizers to the dessert, nothing was a miss. Everything was delicious, and we completely cleared our plates. Our experience was wonderful and this was a memorable dining experience we'll be raving about when we share stories of Zanzibar.

Come for sunset on the rooftop! The rooftop seating was spacious with great views of the sunset. Only 3 other tables were filled when I arrived. They had great music playing and the service was attentive! I had a kabob sampler with samosas and it was flavorful and delicious!

Note: There is a 1,000 TZS charge if you want to carry out your leftovers.

We had a wonderful lunch here. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was of European standards. It is right above the sea offering nice views. Highly recommended. Not expensive for the quality offered.

Good food and nice roof top. Good place to watch the sunset. Beautiful restaurant with modern look and feel. Luxurious touch and amazing service here. The food is delicious. Also good selection of wine. Highly recommend. Very picturesque. Definitely would like to come back.

Excellent food and really good service. We had a small problem but everything was sorted out by the manager. If you want to eat at a european quality, this is the place to be. Amon, the waiter was the best we had on the island. Highly recommended!

Had a table facing the ocean and enjoyed food appropriate for the whole family--even picky eaters. Meal options cheaper than options on the east coast of the island and quality is very high. Service is pretty good, moving faster than your average island pace. Excellent grilled octopus, Peri Peri chicken, big burger, and kids meal. Good cocktails and an excellent passion fruit creme brulee. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing view from the roof terrace and you don’t need to wait to get your table. the drinks are delicious and the food as well and has fair prices for what it offers ! We had a full seafood plate for 2, with lobster, shrimps.. and was around 55k tw (around $25 dollars)
The staff is also super attentive, friendly and quick. We came back twice in our staying of one week in Stone town. I can just recommend this place !! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👏

Honestly if there was an option for 6 stars I would have used it. Wife and I had a lovely evening, service was perfect, sunset was beautiful, and the food was amazing would happily have paid double. One of the best steaks I've ever had, beautifully presented and only 24000 shillings.
