Beach House Zanzibar

Nice place to have dinner on the patio and watch the sunset. Portions are very generous and prices are fair. Service is attentive and friendly. It is in a quiet area in Stone Town but not far from the main section. We enjoyed our dinner!

Blissful views, great chill music, super affable staff, very good food. Spending the month here in Zanzibar (in an Airbnb in Stone Town, not the hotel) and this has been my favourite place. Standout stunning.

The place was perfect. Food was so good and well done. I had pizza margarita and it was tasty. Also drinks and dessert.
It has tables just with sea view where you can see the sunset and enjoy peaceful time.
There were tables avaliable before sunset, but it got busy afterwards.
Staff were also nice. For prices it was not much compared to the quality.

Beautiful place to see the sunset with some cheap cocktails. Average cocktail is like $5. So that’s good for the views you get! Staff was very friendly.

Great place for sunset drinks. The food is fresh and tasty. The decoration is really like a beach house. The cocktails wwre not so good but the overall experience was amazing.

We only had a few cocktails here, and they are excellent. It's probably one of the best in town. Very friendly and helpful staff and always there to accommodate. The prices are punchy, though. If you want to relax by the sea and have a few cocktails, this is the spot. Highly recommend it.

Happened to visit them for dinner the other night.
Excellent seaside dining experience under the starlit sky. The quality and quantity of food served was ample.
You also have multiple seating arrangements from chairs to couches. The staff was extremely polite and made sure we were well taken care of.
They also provide a wide variety of soft and hot drinks to choose from.
Accepts cash and also card transactions in USD which is a plus for tourists.
This is a must visit place when in Stone Town, excellent food and ambiance.

We were pleasantly surprised by the design and sophistication of the place. The terrace has a nice view on the bay where you can see passing fishing boats and local boys nearby playing football on the beach. The decor is modern but traditional, the facilities are excellent and so is the service. Our first interaction there was with a waiter named Novart and his excellent service convinced us to visit the place again for dinner and drinks. The signature cocktails are much better than most I tasted in other Zanzibar hotels and bars. As for the food it offers a good range of choices, from the catch of the day, local seafood dishes to more international options like pasta and pizza. The Beach House is definitely well worth the detour.

This is one of the high end restaurants in stone town. The food was so delicious, the view was nice. If you are going in the evening you may need a sweater. Service is good but if the restaurant is busy except it to be slow. The drinks were good for the price. Overall 9/10

Food and cocktails were excellent, the staff is very kind and responsive. My only suggestion is to serve the beer better cooled.

Trying to figure out what to write that hasn’t been written about this gorgeous “beach house” restaurant.

Located close to the Hyatt and Serena hotels in stone town. Lovely place to unwind and very good service. The serene atmosphere, warm staff the delicious food and drinks leave nothing more to be desired.

I had the prawn and fish indian curry with rice and a virgin mojito while my colleagues had the chicken pizza and the fish & chips all of which receive five stars. Would be delighted to return and try their other offerings.

Edit: Visited again a couple days later for lunch. Verdict still stands.

The food was insanely good 🥹. My friends and I went there twice. For dinner and for lunch. Cocktails are great, staff is super kind. Don’t hesitate to visit beach house to try really tasty food. From rice to curry and fresh fish 🐠 .

Busy friendly venue, seaview daytime and lively atmosphere evening. Good food, well presented. Had dinner here, came back for lunch another day.

I love coming to Beach House daily! I enjoy the beautiful ocean view, soft music and the staff is truly welcoming and very polite. I experience amazing service always by Mahad who is a waiter. I come here often and each time I am greeted as if it is my first visit at Beach House :) My favorite restaurant in Stown Town!!

Perfect to be fair. Veranda 👌🏼, interior inside classy as anything! The Tanzanian curry was unreal. Quesadillas really good sunk down with a few Moscow mules which were made quite nice (which is rare). Views perfect. Not too expensive (comparing to Western prices) would DEFINITELY go again! Bit of a sun trap so take a sweat band 😅
