Zanzibar Beach Resort

I went out if season so the hotel was quiet. Rooms are serviced daily and amenities are good. Hotel is on the beach and the tide goes far out each day but comes right up to the hotel in the afternoons. Lovely authentic good sized rooms and all staff are attentive and polite. Very good security.

Nice location. I only came to eat at the restaurant and cannot speak about the rooms but the food was delicious!

Firstly, the staff at were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their warm smiles and attentive nature made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped foot in the lobby. They were always available to assist with any queries and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional.

The rooms at were nothing short of luxurious. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings created a serene and comfortable ambiance, perfect for relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep each evening. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and I truly appreciated the regular housekeeping service.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view from my room it was a delight to wake up to such beautiful vistas. The hotel's location also provided easy access to nearby attractions, making it convenient for exploration.

The dining options at were exceptional. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of delectable choices to suit every palate. The quality and freshness of the food were evident, and the attentive staff made dining a delightful experience. The resort is quiet and in a very good location near the airport,the rooms are quite spacious and the gardens lush and green ,also loved the reception service and the food

We had a wonderful stay in zanzibar Beach Resort Hotel. Plus the services offered was beyond what we expected, the conference facilities and accommodation was superb. I must recommend the hotel team especially Mr Karanja, Mr Samuel and the Manager Mr Farid as the super heroes when it comes to customer satisfactions. Can't wait to be there once again foe a wonderful stay

The resort is kid friendly and has a large pool and kids activities, the rooms are equally quite spacious and overlooking the ocean and has an amazing view

It was a quite and cool place to stay when your at Zanzibar! I just like it at all! The staff team are good and caring! I just enjoy when am there!

1) The staff's - they are so welcoming, so kind and always around to help or assist especially if you have kids , I really enjoyed on how they Pamper and made me feel so comfortable
2) The environment - so relaxing , exciting and they had so many fun activities for the kids and the guests
3) The food - omg really enjoyed the food , so tasty & everything was 10/10 from the breakfast buffet to dinner the food was really really nice

I stayed for about a week, and it was amazing. Very, very kind manager who sorted my every whim, a very kind, helpful and chatty Lucas in the restaurant and lots of helpful staff right from security. That is not to mention the amazing views that the hotel offers. And.....it happens to have lots of history, too, including the fact that it is the oldest hotel in Zanzibar. Go check it out.

The rooms are very clean. With a swimming pool which face the beach.

Still a classy resort.

We stayed at Room 110, which was convenient as it was only a three-minute walk from the lobby. The room was spacious, with a double bed, a living area, an office desk, a spacious bathroom with a hot/cold shower and two sinks, a closet area, and a beautiful veranda with a sea view. The air conditioning worked well, which is a must because of the hot weather. The mosquito net around the bed appeared to do its job, plus there was hotel staff visiting every evening to spray anti-mosquito repellent.

The room was on the second floor, though, so taking luggage up and down the stairs required assistance from the (helpful!) hotel staff. Those who kept our rooms tidy--Grace and Grace (same names!)--were kind and patient with our requests. At the restaurant, Amina and Agness were also sweet and friendly--always ready to attend to our needs with a smile. At the reception, Maureen and Sam readily helped address our concerns about checkout and payment.

Overall, we had a great time. One suggestion for enhancement would be more options for the breakfast buffet, as there was little variation during our six-day stay. The food was flavorful, though, and I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the resort. Room service was also excellent, but note that food preparation takes time so I recommend ordering an hour in advance.

Daily pool usage fee is 10.000 Tzs. It is indispensable of my Sundays, their services are good, prices are cheap, and their location is easy to reach in town.
