This place is a bit expensive but the dishes are incredible and the juices too. The man who manages the restaurant is helpful and the decoration is wonderful. Recommended!!

Lovely place for a dinner with friends, or even on your own.
Between 3 of us, we shared the vege dumplings for starter, then lobster pasta, chicken mozzarella roll and prawn masala for mains - all were delicious and easily enough to fill us up.
Menu is quite small, as is wine selection, but that is fine since what they do, they do well!
Decor is nice also.

The crab soup was very good. All the seafood was delicious and it was served with a lovely spicy sauce. The soda drinks were very tasty too (there is no alcoholic drink).

Best food in Zanzibar
This sounds like an exaggeration but over a 4-day stint in Zanzibar, I tried a wide variety of eateries along the waterfront and a few inside Stone Town until I hit gold at Zafarini.
Everything is freshly made, which may seem like it's taking a while but it is worth the wait.
I ordered a starter of grilled pineapple, with basil and prawns, seasoned with lime juice. This meal made my senses sing with joy.
The catch of the day was tuna and it was marinated to perfection.
I did not mind the lack of alcohol at all as I had planned to go to a rooftop bar after.
The staff were very friendly and polite.
This place might be a reason for me to come back to Zanzibar.
