Hands down, the best bryani i have had in a while. Authentic food and cheap prices. The local cats also provide some good entertainment. Def recommended!

I tried vegetarian Chiese and Indian cuisine.
Had Veg fried rice, veg Manchurian gravy, Kadai paneer and tandoori roti.
Taste was great. Their service was fast and great, staff was also helpful. Location is sea facing. Overall it was great experience. 👍

This was my first visit to Monsoon in 13 years, and was I as impressed and hugely satisfied as I was all those years before! Stepping in to this beautiful venue, one is lulled back into what could be described as "the heart and essence of Zanzibar and its People". The live music was just perfect! Service is excellent! The menu offered a great selection of items, catering for all preferences. Our selection of mains, a variety of sea foods, was perfectly prepared and I am at a loss of words to describe just how intensely delicious and fresh the meals were! Thank you for creating a perfect memory of an evening well spent! We have already recommended Monsoon to many!

The best experience. Shirley Temple was my first choice mocktail. The chicken, egg and veggie rice was my staple food. New Monsoon with Free WiFi it became home. Shout out to Thwalibu our favourite Waiter.

Great place to have indian food in Zanzibar. The food was so well cooked and the service was great. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken and fries. The waiter was very friendly. They have outdoor seating as well.

A nice cozy place. Good selection of music and a good location. The food was alright. And the staff are super welcoming.

Very tasty flavourful food, good service. We enjoyed the fish coconut curry and lentil curry. The naans are also amazing.

We had delicious Chicken Tikka Masala for 15k TZS. The service was friendly and fast. It was possible to pay by card.

Great place with super staff. Nice terrace as well so absolutely recommend for just a drink as well as for lunch or dinner. Many vegi options!

Our experience at New Monsoon was absolutely fantastic! We have been in Stone Town for 2 days and we ate here 3 times, because we couldn’t get enough. The food here is the best we’ve had in ages! The staff are all kind, friendly and helpful. We got excellent service from Twalibu in particular. I definitely recommend this restaurant to eat at, it is the best in Stone Town!

Lovely food and a nice setting. Dine with the street cats of Zanzibar (think open air cat cafe), if you like cats and great Indian food with friendly service make this a place to dine, you won't regret it.

This place was absolutely amazing. Very friendly waitress and the food was the best food we had during our stay on Zanzibar. Definitely recommend to go to this special restaurant. We didn’t find this place for a few days but went 3 times within 5 days after finding out about this restaurant.

We ate here so many times during our time in stone town. It's an amazing place! Everything (!) we ordered was absolutely delicious! The portions are really big, the food always came after something like 20 minutes. And the staff is so friendly! We love it there, even if the prices are not the cheapest for zanzibar (but also not really high).

Everything was perfect.
The food was so delicious, the services was great. The food was suppose to come after 20 minutes but it actually came early the drinks(juice and cocktail) were awesome and the prices are very reasonable.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for great food and best service at a good price.

Very tasty food and big portions! We are several times at this place and everything was so delicious and the order came quickly. But be careful: if it says spicy, it IS spicy ;)
The staff is very helpful, nice people.

Restaurant with good food at affordable prices. Very good wine list. Friendly and useful staff, with limited non local language skills. :-)
