This place literally has the best food ever. The menu is extensive, the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and all of the food is extremely fresh and healthy. We wish we had found it sooner, but as soon as we found it, we went once a day until we left. The homemade salad dressings truly rocked my world!! It's a must-go place for delicious food in Nungwi, the ratings speak for themselves!

Amazing food! We came here multiple times ad will come back 🙂 It's our favorite place for coffee, lunch or dinner during our holiday. Very nice staff, music, atmosphere and great food. Definitely recommend beef lasagna, almond croissant and 'make your own' salad 😊

Heavenly food. Best for breakfasts, brunches and lunches & quick bites. Super fresh salads, sandwiches, nurturing smoothies. Service is quick compared to other Zanzi cafes.

Amazing food. Lasagna, sandwiches, sweets, everything is great here. Even the coffee is better then anywhere around. Many people say that the prices are high. Well, this is not exactly a cheap place, but they are using high quality ingredients that are neither common nor cheap in Zanzibar, so the higher prices are reasonable. And result is really great, so if you want to taste something that is different and really, really delicious, you shouldn't miss this place.

Had an excellent lunch here! Decent sized ciabattas and royally topped. The Mediterranean Mozza (picture) and roast beef were both really tasty! Also, I recommend you try the iced tea vanilla and Zanzibar hibiscus & pellegrino. Very friendly staff!

Went to this lovely small place for lunch. Had ciabata and sallad with excellent juices. The ingredients seemed fresh and service was nice. The place was also clean.

Had a really nice iced coffee, fairly large portion for a fair price. Also tried the Alsatian apple pie with caramel sauce, it was really delicious! Really cute little cafe with a lot of different choices for pastries, juices and sandwiches. O

Loved it!! The food is excellent and fresh! Drinks too! We had a baguette and a piece of quiche! They were both really tasty. Prices are extremely high compared to other restaurants but that's how they can maintain the high quality. If you are looking for cheap dining options don't come here! We had also 2 choko balls as dessert. One was with cinnamon and the other one with pili pili. I would maybe review the recipe of those ones. The cinnamon one didn't taste like cinnamon and both didn't have much cocoa in them. Didn't really love them honestly! But everything else was perfect! Including the super friendly owner of the place!

Passion & Thyme is definitely the best place to eat delicious, healthy and nourishing food in Nungwi. We ate here almost every day on our trip, and looked forward to it every time. Faudhia took our orders each time and she was so warm, welcoming and kind. Thank you Faudhia! Alex, the manager was also very friendly and helpful. The toasted paninis were our favourite, but the salads and quiches were amazing as well.

This little french bistro/bakery is really really good. Freshly baked or prepared food made with love and a lot of skill.
I'm addition you can have fresh fruit juices, made right before your eyes with exactly the composition you like. Outside there are 4 tables to enjoy your lunch.

So good we went twice for breakfast in 3 days. Next time we might go here for breakfast every morning.

The coffee us great but the rest if the menu is also quite good. I would reccomend this placr to friends and family.

Passion & thyme is heads down the best breakfast/brunch place in Zanzibar!! Everything is fresh and tasty and very rich in flavour. They do a lot of homemade sauces and you can use any you want with no extra charge.
I might come back to Zanzibar just for breakfast here 😎

Best place in Nungwi with delicious food and drinks. Excellent and fast service.

Always the first place we head to when going up north… incredible food which we have been have been raving about to anyone we meet. On our long term journeys/road trips round the African continent we always find ourselves wanting to find another Passion and thyme around the corner. Only complaint is we don’t live closer!

Omg so happy right now!!!!!! This sandwich shop is incredible! All ingredients homemade, homemade salsa, juices & teas. The quality is fantastic and super creative sammies! The owner was so sweet welcoming us! The cutest restaurant for lunch. Would love if we had one more day to come back again, until next time!

10/10 RECOMMEND! This was our favorite place in Nungwi. The Food is delicious, fair price and friendly staff.
