Best restaurant in Zanzibar. You should try pasta with lobster! They also have good ice cream.
You need to reserve a table if you go there at the evening.

I loved this place. The view is amazing, food good, and they have outlets near tables on the rail to charge which is a nice touch. The lobster was yummy! And the passion fruit cheesecake was delicious! I ate here 3/4 times since I stayed so close to it!

My husband and I love this place. We found it our last 2 days in Nungwi and ate there for dinner, then lunch and dinner the next day. I had lobster both days, which were amazing. My husband had a pizza and 2 different pasta dinners! All were great food with a nice atmosphere. Best drinks in Zanzibar! Huge shout out to our bartender who was fun to chat with in addition to being a great bartender. Dining room overlooks the beach to boot!

We went to this place first for ice cream late in the day (just delicious 😋) and after for our last lunch before traveling back... we had amazing pizzas, South Africa wine and delicious desserts!!! Not only the food is delicious as the view over the beach gives the perfect environment for a good meal. Staff super friendly as the owner too!!! Would recommend and go there on my next visit for sure!!!

Good pizza (considering the availability of ingredients), I've certainly had better, but that wasn't i a developing African country. This places has excellent ice cream, which you can also find all over Zanzibar. The place has amazing views during afternoons and sunsets. Staff are very polite and friendly.

We had dinner here twice. A nice Italian restaurant in Nungwi next to the beach with tables overlooking the ocean. The pasta and the pizzas were really good. The service was very fast also. Highly recommended if you had enough local cuisine.

I've passed a beautiful week in this magic place... sea is wonderful... and endless beaches too...

Tried Lobster, Octopus Carpaccio, Spaghetti Carbonara, Pizza Nutella, Ice Cream and Prosecco all was good and fresh.

Mama Mia is a wonderful place! For almost 3 weeks we stopped there every day for coffee, juice, ice cream, cocktail, pizza, fish, or soup ... We never made a mistake with the choice.
The staff is friendly, the service is fast.
I highly recommend!
