Mangi's Beach Bar,Restaurant

It became my favourite spot because of how fast and nice the staff is! The pool table is free to use, there’s darts and good music and very affordable prices. I wouldn’t agree it’s a tourist trap.
The food was ok. No dissapointments but also I didn’t have high expectations. Portions are not very big. Food was coming fast but I heard they improved recently.

It's a very beautiful place, located at the beach, with a very nice view & beach, highly recommended for beach lovers, vacation lovers in Nungwi.

Really liked this beach bar. Went a couple of times for drinks in the afternoon and one evening had dinner. The chapatti wraps were great! Also had vegetarian options.

We had a nice evening, we had a pizza and beef kofta.
Pizza was ok, nothing special.
Beef kofta was delicious, I would go back for it. Even though We arrived very late, close to 10 pm, they were very nice and helpful

Nice restaurant on the beach. Friendly staff and good food, especially the seafood chapati. Good prices considering the location. We also came at night for cocktails, they were good but it was more juice than alcohol.

The thing that never ceases to amaze me is how genuinely friendly the people on this island are! We ate lunch here most of the days we spent in Zanzibar, and both the food and the service was excellent. Reading all the negative reviews just shows you that people need to chill out and realise that they are on island time. ☺

Glad we ignored the mixed reviews and gave it a try. Fun bar and restaurant. Lovely setting on the beach. Food is not bad. Patatas Bravas are delicious - who would have thought in Tanzania?!

Don't know why the rate (now) is so low. Good drinks, reasonable prices (relatively), decent food, amazing view, adequate service. Recommended.

All coctails where based on fresh fruits, grilled octopus and calamari where also good and simple, very nice location at the beach, good wifi, good place to relax & swim in the ocean, friendly staff :)

Really nice place on the beach with good vibe and nice staff... If you don't expect them to be quick. 😉 This place is all hakuna matata, if you are not in a rush and want to enjoy yourself then it's a great choice. The staff is helpful, flexible and kind... But it's also helps if you are proactive and head to the bar to order, it can speed things up. 😁

Food is also very good at reasonable price. Burger was quite good, fish also (we didn't have big expectations 😉). In the evening they put the tables out to the beach so you can marvel the stars with your feet in the still warm and extremely fine sand. We will definitely go back. 👍🏻😎

Been there several times - for lunch or for dinner.
Tried differend meals, fish and even traditional dishes.
Every time the meal was really tasty and well prepared.
The waiters were every time really nice and friendly.
Special thanks to the waiter Daniel, he was allways with a smile on his face, and takes really great care for us as a quests.👍🏼

Very nice, very good food and very nice service. Very pleasant atmosphere, on the beach.

I came in for a fresh juice at sunset, stayed for dinner and came in again for lunch 😊 It’s a simple, laid-back beach-side restaurant but fresh juices were great and my seafood meals as well! Absolutely no regrets for a good price 😊
