Amaan Beach Bungalows

Great place on the beach. Very nice breakfast. Look on various booking sights for deals. The snorkeling is lots of fun! Head up the beach to the fish market and eat at The Local restaurant on the beach, reasonable and fresh seafood.

I felt very comfortable in this resort.Very friendly staff, clean rooms and a fantastic view.I will definitely come back here.

Very nice resort. World Class!! Gorgeous water along the bar and restaurant. Big pool. Lots of activities…scuba, snorkeling, sunset cruise, even beach horseback riding nearby. Had a great time here!!! I’d stay here again.

Great experience here. The staff is kind and helpful. Really good breakfast (I only needed to eat 1 other meal per day!). Also both restaurants on site have good food and you can't beat the view.. it's spectacular. Big shout out to Ibi, the bartender. I've been traveling all over the country and I would say he's provided the best customer service I've had here, really top notch.

I'd check 3rd party booking sites for a better price but you will not get a room with the best location or a view. I didnt spend anytime in the room so that didn't matter much to me but for some it might.

Amazing holiday location. Spent a week there and exclusively want to thank Omar and his team of bartenders for excellent service and friendliness their cocktails are outstanding and really great place to spend a vacation with family and friends.

Pretty good location and the attention in the restaurant is so good! Also if you need anything else like late check out, the people in the reception is so friendly to help!

Nice rooms and great pool. Sunsets are stunning from the restaurant deck and the seafood was amazing.

Good place and the service is great. WiFi in the hotel is very slow and it's difficult to get any work done. However, it has a nice pool and is next to the ocean, which is a big plus. The view of the ocean from the restaurant and sea facing rooms are to die for.

This hotel is amazing, with a lovely and kind staff.. big rooms and a huge swimming pool.... highly recommend

The best place for the value of money! Don’t let the 3 stars fool you, this hotel is great! Bedrooms is not what to come to Zanzibar for… The pool is big and child friendly. The restaurant has great food, for great price. So well situated on the beach. The staff make things happen! (I am actually so happy while writing this review!)

Beautiful small bungalow on Nungwi Beach. Very nice staff with nice pool and a lot of rooms. They offer massages, hair braiding, henna and a nice restaurant on site. We did not try the breakfast but we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, dinner and happy hour drinks. The rooms are basic with mosquito net and no TV. I love to watch the news but no TV is what I needed to escape and renew. The beach is amazing in Nungwi and absolutely beautiful and add the sunset cruise with Authentic Zanzibar drumming. It should not be missed.

It’s not too far from Horse club, Mama Mia sunset boat, clean amazing and beaituful.

This is a five star resort.

The rooms are not luxurious, but they are good and the staff is extremely competent and friendly. This hotel is situated on the very edge of the most beautiful beach you can imagine. This is an African experience, complete with an abundance of fresh fruits, young Africans eagerly selling sightseeing tours, delicious seafood in the restaurants - all under a burning sun.
The pool is great and well maintained, in the shade of beautiful Indian almond trees.

This will not be my only visit to Amaan Bungalows.

Great bungalows in Nungwi. We spent there 5 nights and the service was great. Food in the restaurant Fat Fish is slow but that's something you can expect everywhere in Zanzibar. Wait up to 2 hours.
Rooms are clean and equiped. Beach is right in front of the hotel. They also have a central pool where you can sit anytime day and night. Place is very highly secured with walls and security.
Breakfast was good with fresh egg omlet or pancakes done on spot for each guest.

Amazing location right on the beach, mini supermarket located within the premises and nice pool.

Amazing experience! Probably the best resort in Zanzibar. The private beach is clean and makes you want to spend all your time there.

Food: breakfast buffet has a lot of variety and the chefs are very talented. The menu selection is also great.

We stayed 3 days in Amaan Beach Bungalows and we just love it. The place is super charming and welcoming and is very well located in Nungwi. It's a few steps from the beach which is sensational. It has a huge pool in a beautiful landscape. It also has a bar and restaurant among other several amenities close by.
Our room, with balcony and a beautiful view of the pool and the sea, it was comfortable with a huge bed and a good shower. Good and varied breakfast. Staff attentive and helpful. We felt very well there and we super indicate. We already want to go back.

The hotel is nice and tidy. We stayed at one of the rooms facing the pool. Stayed 2 nights. Their rooms and bathroom are big enough. They have fridge in the rooms to keep your drinks or snacks cold. The swimming pool was clean but there were always leaves dropping from the trees around and they kept cleaning every 20 minutes. The restaurant is ok but got better taste from other places around... It doesn't have much space on the beach (not private beach) but it is right there. All in all we liked our stay.
