Kivulini Garden Lodge and Restaurant

The food was great and the staff was very kind and professional. I ate seafood curry with rice as I wanted to try something different and I wasn't disappointed at all. It was very tasty! My company ate calamari in a stew, with vegetables, and that was very tasty as well. We heard how our food was freshly made and how they really put some love in it! Regarding drinks, ask for juice without sugar if you don't like too sweet drinks. Perfect place for a lunch if you are not in a rush!

Me and my friends stayed in this place for 1 week over christmas and it was worth every penny!!
Staff was very friendly and always keen to help...heir kitchen was one of the best in the area for a cheap price....
I would definitely recommend this place as the location was also brilliant...

I came in Kivulini few years for 20 days and more and realy enjoy it. Very kind stuff and Mr, Ally and his wife as well. I feel like at home. Perfect place for enjoying after beach and activities. The mama Siti is cleaning rooms every day and she is so sweet and good woman. Trustful. Everything you want is available. I will come again for sure. Thanks to all stuff for my enjoying there.

We spent a few nights in Kivulini garden lodge Nungwi and we loved everything, rooms with perfect bed , air-conditioning, shower with hot water, fridge, vary clean , breakfast perfect, peaceful in one word perfect . Highly recommend this place . We will beck next year . The owner and the staff so friendly . We love you gays , thank you for everything.

Literally still eating right now but I had to stop what I was doing to leave a review. My goodness. This place is incredible. We started with the guacamole to share, which was delicious. I am currently having the seafood paella and my husband is having this whole fish made local style (I forgot the name). Just wow. Will be back. Also our waiter is a true professional.

We moved from a not so nice hotel to here.
This was absolutely the right decission. The rooms are nice, with little balcony and a private bathroom with fan+AC and hot water.
The attached restaurant cooks very delicious food, we ate all three dinners there.
Everything is very fairly priced and the friendly staff completes the nice stay. Especially the waiter Emanuel was amazing!

Great food, huge choice of different dishes and such friendly service. Ended up going there to eat 5 days in a row while in Nungwi. Both waiters who served us were so kind and made us feel at home.

First of all, thank you very much for hosting us. Initially, we didn't plan to stay here, but because there were problems with one of the booked hotels, we had to choose this hotel and once again (we stayed last year too) we were not disappointed. Good quality and price ratio. A beautiful garden. Wifi is weak, but it forces you to focus more on your vacation and your surroundings - so even this should not be considered a drawback.

Kivulini restaurant is a wonderful option for your holidays. The food is amazing, a wide range of choices. The staff is excellent and Emanuel is a big star. He is one of the kindest person we ever met. Don’t miss it.

The restaurant was soooo nice the fish that I took Changu Samaki wa kupaka with coconut sauce on it, amazing, you can even lick the plate. The host was very here for you if you have any questions and even came with us to drop us at our second location honestly nothing to say. And 100% about the quality and price of the food I recommend it

Can’t say enough good thing about this place. Best restaurant you can find in Nungwi. Go straight there my friend and don’t hesitate by the way it looks like a hospital. Food is amazing, flavorful, clean. They make food with a lot of attention and care for customer. Price is better than all other places. Staffs are so lovely, so polite. No problem with paying by credit card. No scam. Just hospitality and purity!

Excellent food and five star service. The menu has endless options that should accommodate any taste. We kept returning here for lunch.

Now the Restaurant have new Roof and new floor and it's quite new look hygienic.
Their juice it's estimate 2,500-3000 Ths.
And the food that we get are fresh .
We enjoyed this place a lot because the food is tasty and fresh always and the reasonableprice .the staff always smiling and very friendly. We impress this place and feel comfortable more than other restaurants in zanzibar .
We go here almost everyday if not lunch then dinner .We recommend you to eat here.

This place is beyond good, from friendly service to the freshness of the food you are in for a major treat! We came only on our last night, it was the best food we had the whole week and we really tried many places! Too bad it was our last night but it was the best way to say goodbye to this amazing island! The grilled seafood platter was great, the jumbo prawns were also spectacular

Awesome Seafood Restaurant! They get their fish fresh from the ocean and offer them at an unbeatable price!
Although this restaurant is a bit hidden and has no seaside view, the overall experience is amazing and the staff is incredible friendly!

They also offer tidy, clean rooms which are only 1 min away from the beach at a reasonable price (you get the best offer when booking directly there and paying in cash). We stayed here 4 nights and loved it!

Excellent food, fresh fish, impeccable service, like 100% recommend! They’re nice, super friendly, and the food was delicious ! Special mention to the lobster and prawns. The seafood platter had calamari and octopus that were Smokey and perfectly cooked ! And all for a very good price ! Asante Sana

This was the best food we ever ate in the whole Zanzibar. I think it could be the best food I ate in my whole life!! We ate vegetable and beef curry and taste’s that we found in there were out of this world. Thank you, thank you again!

We are at the hotel and the room is really great, proper.
The hotel organized activities like private trip to Mnemba island (dolphin swim, snorkelling..) the crew of today was very kindly !
