Fat Fish Grill & Lounge

Delicious fresh fish. Dropped by for dinner and another day for lunch. Pictured is the grilled changu with chips. When I went for lunch I got the Pemba fish sandwich and it was good as well.

Service is slow, so budget your time accordingly, but servers are kind and attentive.

Extremely delicious fresh fish. I had fresh fried whole snapper and it was delicious. I was thinking of pole pole but service was quick. Alex was so on point with drinks and food and answered all of my questions with knowledge and patience. This was not only a perfect last night for me in Zanzibar but one of the most seasoned and moist whole fish I’ve eaten in awhile. Ask for Alex if you can he does a wonderful job. Thanks Alex!!

Lovely staff, With a terrace actually in and overlooking the ocean, great views with stairs access to the beach on low tide as well.

Fair menu, but a little bit pricey.

They serve different good quality shisha / hookah for 25000 Tanzanian Shillings.

Good prices, good food, especially in the evenings where you can pick from a selection of fresh seafood. Good cocktails, and the only place I found that offered hookah. You can spend a pleasant evening here.

The food is very good and the price is right. The people there all work 'pole pole' so the waiting times are correspondingly long, but otherwise everything is really fine.

J'ai trouvé le pain de mon veggie pas assez moelleux et bien ils me l'ont refait et c'était juste parfait.

Очень хороший ресторан. Да, немного медленно, но ресторан большой, к тому же на отдыхе можно и подождать. Напитки, кстати, приносят быстро. Пиво тут дешевле, чем в близлежащих. Еда разная, есть рыба дня. Почти каждый день кто-то выступает. Рекомендую провести вечер здесь.
