Mabungo Restaurant

Local restaurant with great food, we returned twice for lunch and dinner. Very nice staff, no problem with English and local prices. We had octopus, squid, soup, wrap and smoothies and everything was great.

Very local looking restaurant (so not fancy) but with delicious food for very good price. Have been there twice. Grilled octopus & squid or octopus curry were tasty. It's approx 11k for food incl. sidedish. Smoothies cheap and good as well. Waitress was very nice and thoughtful.

Typical restaurant, excellent dishes and freshly prepared juices.
Friendly and welcoming staff.

It was quite when we went but the food was lovely and turned up quickly enough.
The lady that was working was really nice too. Also thought it was reasonable price wise, much better better than the hotels

We came here for a dinner and it proved to be a great choice! We got the grilled pulpo, which was divine, and the pulpo curry, which was also very good. The service was also friendly and everyone always had a smile on their face :)

Authentic Zanzibar-food and tasty french fries. You should order the spicy and hot beef skewer! Very good prices. Not compareble with the tourist-restaurants at the beachfront. This is the real Zanzibar and Nungwi.

Su 6 giorni di vacanza siamo venuti 5 volte. È l'unico ristorante non turistico di Nungwi e anche se le attese sono un po' lunghe (come in tutti i ristoranti locali), i piatti sono eccellenti e i prezzi sono tanzaniani!
Eva e Anastasia sono bravissime, gentili e disponibili: hanno modificato i piatti secondo le nostre richieste!
Venite numerosi!

Doporučujeme navštívit. Včera na večeři bylo maso trošku vysušenější, ale dnes na oběd to bylo famózní, vše vynikající a za málo peněz. Wrap, seafood salát, grilované mořské plody, curry, fresh džusy. Pivo standardně v nabídce nemají, ale ochotně nám pro něho zašli do obchodu.

Skvělé jídlo, rychlá obsluha, přijatelné ceny. Výborný fresh juice 👌.

Miejsce godne polecenia. Jedzenie pyszne i świeże, na wyróżnienie zasługują soki i smothies. Wszystko za bardzo przystępną cenę. Wystrój skromny, ale czysto i swojsko. Miła obsługa :)

Több drágább, nagyobb, "színvonalasabb" helyen ettem a napokban. Ez volt magasan a legfinomabb és elegendő mennyiség! Nem szép , de olcsó és jó!

Ca vaut vraiment la peine de s'écarter un peu de la mer pour apprécier une cuisine locale simple et savoureuse.

Klar am Ambiente kann man leider wenig machen wegen der anliegenden Einkaufsstraße.

Lokálna reštaurácia s veľmi priateľskou atmosférou. Majiteľka Eva je božská a ochotná zabezpečiť aj pivo, ktoré v ponuke chýba. Boli sme tu na rodinnú večeru a všetkým na veľmi chutilo. Burger urobený z čerstvej želme, ktoru práve upiekli oproti. Čo dodať, odporúčam všetkým, ktorý chcú zažiť lokálnu atmosféru a vychutnať si skutočne čerstvé jedlo pripravené z láskou. Ďakujeme Eva, určite sa počas pobytu ešte vidíme!!!

Skvělé jídlo, za velmi dobré ceny. V porovnání s "luxusními"restauracemi na Zanzibaru bylo jídlo velmi rychle připravené. Neocekavejte luxus ale originální místní restauraci

Mâncarea bună poate am avut eu ghinion și a fost porția mica dar gustoasa.
