I strongly recommend this amazing place,with great atmosphere, nice and very kind owner,who cooks delicious food. Food was one of the best we did eat on Zanzibar as everything is fresh and prepared once the order is received.Due to that you will need to wait a bit, definitely worth it. As during that time you can be reading book,lying in the hamak or just breathing the peace and quiet from the area. Strongly recommend also mango juice.

After a long day in the sun, this place is just what you need. Relaxed, warm and welcoming are the quaint team there and the food.. Some of the best we've had in Zanzibar!
Proper home cooking with tasty and generous portions.
If you're in the Nungwi area, I recommend trying this place out during your stay.

Absolutely fantastic place for good meal and the oasis of relax. The food is prepared with love and precise, by very kindless And friendly owner, so autenthenticity is 100%. You must be prepared for little bit longer waiting for meal, but it's same on whole Zanzibar, as locals say ,,polepole,, And then ,,hakuna matata,, And trust me, you will enjoy it.

Great meal, prepared as you wait. Service was fantastic. Would recommend if you're in the area as it's one of the only places that doesn't start meals at 7, they're all day!

Bei einem Besuch in Nungwi haben wir das kleine Restaurant entdeckt. Perfektes gemütliches Ambiete für alle, die gern abseits der großen Hotelanlagen entspannt und sehr authentisch essen gehen wollen. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Koch bereitet hervorragendes Essen zu. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Посещали этот ресторан каждый вечер на протяжении 8 дней! Повар, Шэдрок, просто молодец! Перепробовали все: крабы, креветки, рыбу, кальмары, осьминога и курицу. Все понравилось! Всё заказывали заранее, т. е. сегодня - на завтра. Также готовит изумительный соус к рису, на основе арахисовых орехов! Фреши все натуральные. Всем рекомендую посетить это кафе. Цены на четверых колебались от 60’000 до 100’000 шилингов (крабы).

Meilleurs repas de zanzibar encore plus bon que l’hôtel où nous étions avec ma femme , leurs cocktails d’une saveur incroyable, propriétaire très accueillant et très serviable merci beaucoup !

Nicht luxuriös, aber trotzdem gemütlich mitten im "Garten".
Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut.
Alles frisch, daher auch nicht immer alles vorrätig ohne Vorbestellung.

Un piccolo paradiso il cibo è ottimo il pesce fresco è ottimi ..come tutto il.resto i prezzi sono buoni e il.personale è molto gentile lo consigluo a tutti .Aku a matata

We ordered americano, it wasn't bad, but the price is very expensive so the funny thing is that in a restaurant near to beach you pay less for coffee.
And they brought us salt instead of sugar.

Nice garden with a lot of shade that comes very useful when you have to wait over an hour for you food which turned out not great either (half raw chicken). Good lemonade though. Waiter didn't apologize for undercooked meal and looked even a bit angry when we (very politely) complained. Not recommended.

Une horreur !! A ne surtout pas essayer. En lisant les commentaires on a voulu essayé mais ce fût une très mauvaise idée.
On a attendu une heure pour être servi, un poisson frit dans une tonne d’huile alors qu’on la demandé grillé, aucun goût même pas mangeable ( qu’on a du quand même payer ) Le deuxième plat c’était 4 rondelles de calamars pleins d’huile juste deguelasse. Il ne mérite même pas une demi étoile
