Green's Nungwi

I felt very welcome and its a good place to meet people. The breakfast was good and the owner Sarah gave me tips for exploring around. The bed was comfortable and the location is just 3-5 minutes walk to the beach. I would come back every time !

Stayed at the Green’s Nungwi for six nights. I originally booked 2, but kept extending because I loved the area and my stay.
Hostel is now run by new owner, Sarah, and she is amazing! Super helpful and friendly.
I booked private backpacker room, smaller but perfect for my needs. Had all the necessary things like towels and sheets, and daily housekeeping was provided.
Breakfast is excellent, there is security 24h and all the staff and new manager are nice and helpful!
Hostel went through some renovation last year and this year, and is a great stay for backpackers, solo travelers like me, but even families!
There are different options for different budgets!

Brilliant location, only mins walk from the village shops and restaurants and to the beach. Room was great, suited my needs and an excellent breakfast every morning. Despite being in the centre, very quiet and there's security day and night. Excelellent wifi and for days you dont feel like a trip to the beach, theres a lovely swimming pool. Sarah the owner is a pleasure and very helpful and happy to guide and advise, been with Greens twice now and hope to go back soon.

Sarah is an incredible person: professional, responsive and very cheerful. I thank her for the four days I spent in the hotel. I highly recommend her and her staff.

Great hostel! The price is fair, there’s a good breakfast, and the service is amazing. Any time I needed anything I asked the stuff and they helped me with a smile. Plus there’s a security 24/7 which is very relaxing to me. Will very recommend :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Green‘s! The staff is super kind, always available and helped out when I had any questions. I stayed at Backpackers single room which had quite a cheap price. The beach is 5 -10 minutes away. Breakfast was good, depending on the day, they offered chapati, egg and Mandazi as well as toast, but no fresh coffee. Wifi was slow during my stay. Would definitely go there again.

Very nice place, the personal is very very friendly ! The chef in the house help you evertime. Now we stayed there for 2 nights and now we came back, because its so nice. The breakfast with the ingwer jiuce is really nice, other hotels have just the standard. And also the wifi is really good. And after one day, came the room service. You all have to go !

We spent a week at Green's Nungwi and felt very comfortable there from the start. We were warmly welcomed. The double rooms are large, perfectly adequate and equipped with mosquito nets. You shouldn't expect luxury, however, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right here! Above all, the breakfast freshly prepared and served by Ali was a highlight that ensured a good start to the day. Every day there are different fresh fruits and vegetables as well as chapati, omelets and much more. The entire staff is friendly, funny and courteous at all times and available for a nice chat. Above all, the owner Ali went out of his way to make our stay a pleasant one. He gave us great tips for local restaurants and explained a lot about the Festival of Sacrifice, which was taking place at the time. Thanks for the nice time!

We stayed in the doubleroom, direct next the pool, with aircondition. We enjoed this place a lot. The room was clean and the manager helps always with everything needed! The personal is very friendly, every morning served us a great breakfast! Also a parking lot is aviable, and the internet works very fast (thats not common in sansibar)
We enjoyed Green Nungwi a lot.

Green's is really close to the beach and many restaurants, it's the perfect location!

Simply Greens is very good guest house the location is very close to the beach and to so many restaurants.rooms were clean and speed wifi, it is very relaxing and peaceful. breakfast was delicious, and most important the staff were very friendly to be honest especially Mr Mohamed the manager was very helpful and and he advised me which place should I visit and which activities to do.
I will definitely go back there when i visit Nungwi again. HAKONA MATATA

There is something about this place. Being a 1st visit in Nungwi I choose Greens Nungwi for my stay since most travellers on online platforms who have been here recommended it.
They offer all types of accommodation from Private Duluxe to Hostel set up which is a plus for all travellers. They have a self service buffet breakfast set up😋, You know what that means(eat as much as you can handle 😅).
Wait! Did I say the place is located 5mins walk to the beach? Yeah you are damn right. There is a pool too for those who are afraid to swim in the ocean waters🤭.
I loved everything about this place from Hygeine to choice of location to conveniency and their professionalism. The staff here are very friendly and helpful in providing information about the whereabouts of this place.
Highly recommend and will be checking in again and again anytime am in Nungwi😍.

Such a great place and the host is going to do everything possible to make you feel good. We enjoyed the beautiful garden which is like a small oasis in Nungwi. Just 5 Minutes to the beach, but take care of the cows in streets ;) Breakfast was good and they had Nutella as well. Can highly recommend this place!

My friend and I stayed in Greens for 18 days, I do not have enough words to describe our satisfaction with the place. Ali, the house manager made our stay superb, and we felt really wanted and appreciated. I can recommend this guest house to anyone who comes visit Nungwi!

I would highly recommend Green's if you are looking for some good value accomidation in Nungwi. While its not beachfront it's only a few minutes walk to the beaches and restaurants.

The guesthouse us well run with very friendly welcoming staff.. It's very clean with comfortable beds and good linen. No AC but the windows have screens and there are ceiling fans.

I have stayed in several places in Nungwi previously but would choose to go back to Green's for my next trip when I return.

Green's Guest House is great choice for your stay in Nungwi. Opened as of June 2018, everything is brand new, spotless, clean, and comfy. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and cared for, they even lent me a yoga mat. The core of the owners' philosophy is to make guests feel as if they are at a five star resort. Affordable luxury at it's finest.
