Kilimani House

Absolutely love the house. Be careful driving here, but we came with small car (Toyota IST) and did well. The property is calm and beautiful, the house is clean. It’s was so comfortable to sleep and wake up with jungle view. You won’t believe, Wifi is fastest at the town! I would live here seriously

I love Kilimani House so much that I have already been a guest there 3 times. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. The place being on top of a hill, it is super quiet and has nice views. I enjoy a lot being in such a luscious environment and out of the village, and yet still just a few minutes away from the beach and the centre (when I am out at night, a ride by motorbike taxi and you are home in no time). Santos prepares the best breakfast I have had in Tanzania, bonus points for some of the fruits coming from their own garden! Juma will book you a taxi anytime you need, which is very convenient. I especially like the facts that the house is built integrating both local techniques and environmental-friendly techniques (such as the water tank), that they have built most of it by themselves and that you can see this is a family home, with the advantages of a couple by a local and an European (we get the best of both worlds) and an adorable little boy. Plus, during low season it is not a very hot place and you have a nice breeze. Since the first time I was there (5 years ago), the neighbourhood has changed a lot: there are more houses around (meaning better lighting at night) and electricity has been installed (which means there are now fans!).

Super nice place! Best breakfast in Sansibar with fresh fruit from their own garden :) Juma and Santos, the owners made us feel like home! You dont even need a fan or AC , because the house is on top of the hill.

Really relaxing! Its not in the center so you need to walk about 10 minutes to the beach. Juma the host is friendly and if you need something you just need to ask him.

Very nice and homely guesthouse in Nungwi. The hosts are great. Rooms are cozy, comfortable.
Beach is approx 15 min by foot.
Value for money.

Peaceful, gorgeous place with lots of privacy and good vibes. The lovely couple that run and own the rooms will welcome you and make you feel right at home.

I stayed about 5 days in October/November. The owner is a very nice and helpful person. Excellent breakfast. The rooms are very nice.

Auch wenn die Chefs nicht vor Ort waren, hat sich das Personal rührend gekümmert, das Frühstück ist wirklich einsame Spitze, der Ort eignet sich fantastisch zum Relaxen und um den Ort kennenzulernen.

It's not a fancy place but theview is amazing and Juma is working harder making the place more beautiful and convenience
