You can reach here easily by taking a bus. Pretty decent for a short walk and also very clean and quiet.
I suggest everyone go for a short walk when you are nearby there!

Ancient, quiet and perfect to have a chill lazy time

Lovely center. Nice craft shops

Very cool redevelopment of an old Japanese industrial space. Although many of the places were not open when I went, it had a great vibe and the shops were nice. Multiple places to have coffee, sit out, and watch people.

A lot of shops to visit with lot of handmade stuff. If you have the chance to meet the man who sells Hinoki wood, you won't regret it, the prices are okay and the quality is excellent. I also really enjoyed the buildings. Those old style Japanese houses are very beautiful and always very fresh to spend the beginning of the afternoon !

Nice place to chill for the afternoon in Hua Lien. Interesting stuffs and market after 14:00 pm. One thing to mention is they don’t sell food or coffee here, it’s somewhere to visit after finish your lunch in the central Hua Lien.

I love here so much! Enjoy the relaxing time with my friends here and you can DIY different things.

You will need a few hours at this creative and cultural spot in the middle of Hualien City.

I went there at weekend and got to listen to the very best street artists comparing to others in Hualien.
The view was magnificent and you could enjoy local culture here

It is a relaxing public space that also a place for selling local handy crafts. You will enjoy here.

This is a historic area where rice wine used to be produced during the Japanese colonial period. The buildings are quite pretty and it provides a bit of a center attraction to the town where activities and concerts are sometimes held, but it has unfortunately not been managed well and most of the buildings are vacant in recent years. Probably the rent was too high, but it is now under new management so hopefully there will be some improvements soon.

Very calm and cozy place. Many old folks walk their pets at here. Good place for short visit.

Great place for families to visit on weekend

This place used to be a winery, a place that produced wine, not any more. This is a very spacious complex, and has many exhibitions for us to enjoy; moreover, it's a great place to take a walk and the whole family to take a break!
