Farglory Hotel Hualien

The best thing Farglory Hotel offers is service. I feel cozy and warm because the service they provide. Dinner buffet has a variety of choices, but taste in my opinion can be better. Breakfast is better than dinner.

The rooms are excellent. Nice views, great and warm service. Even though I forgot many things when packing to come to Hualien, the concierge and reception helped me lending phone chargers. The buffet breakfast was really good. Great variety of savory options and non-sugary cereal. I would say I liked it more than the dinner buffet. I had dinner buffet the night I stayed. I see improvements from my previous visit but I still recommend savory bread to pair with cheese and the rest of the food. The 牛肉湯 is really good it takes me back to Tainan. All the options of bread had either raisins or other types of dry fruits, and the Russian bread with no dry fruits still leans toward the sweet side. There was a pork dish in which they forgot to clean the areas where the pork was treated with gentian violet. Even though, it is safe to eat you would expect chefs to discard those areas.

My three star rating is only for the dinner buffet. It is marketed as Western buffet. Only 1/3 of the buffet is Western-inspired cuisine, the other 2/3s are Japanese and local Taiwanese. If you are not a big fan of desserts or you can't have much sugar, I don't recommend this buffet. The savoury food has very limited options. For instance, the only non-sweet bread available was baguette. All the others were sweet full of dry fruits and raisins.

In the Western side of the buffet they only provide two options of beef (beef squares and beef sliced in front of you by request). Only one pork option. The other pork options in the "Western" side were Hong Kong style dim sum and steamed ribs. The grilled shrimps could be more attractive if they were cleaned, too messy to peel and clean the intestines.

The ambiance is so relaxing. Seeing the stunning view from afar feels good. It can calm your mood. It's very clean and the staffs are accommodating.

What can you say about this great and superb hotel? It is a kid friendly place with many activities. Buffet breakfast and dinner was over the moon. There were lots of food to choose from. Taste splendidly very good and scrumptious in many ways. A nice quiet hotel to relax in the room after a busy day. Loved the design of the hotel and many good art work. I'll definitely go back again with the family!

Very good hotel with kid friendly facilities. There is also a great Japanese restaurant that specialises in hot pot, with fresh ingredients sourced locally. Attentive service by staff.

Awesome place specially if you travel with children. Amusement park is just 3 minutes drive away. Service is friendly and helpful. Food is excellent and not expensive. Bar is good, not many choices but enough for have some good time. Overall a excellent place to visit.

Great hotel with amazing views, the restaurants have some great food as well. Kids friendly is a must. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very thoughtful. They knew that we had a baby, they decorated the towels with elephants shape which echoed back their room. I love their interio design, from the lobby to the room, very elegant. What made us like the most was the cleaness. You could see their high standar of cleaness from the swimming pool, the restaurant and the room. We will definetly go there again. We love it!

After renovation, it became very beautiful and clean. The service is indeed five-star level. The temperature of the indoor swimming pool is perfect. It's a good place to take kids to.

I love it's British style, renovated with brand new accommodation.
Kids club is also friendly , next time I wanna try swimming pool.

A family friendly and true 5-star resort in a beautiful location, with super friendly staff and a great attention to detail in every aspect.🌟This resort is offering a luxury experience that can well compete with any other hotel/ resort in Europe or the US. The resort is in a very good condition and I have not seen a hotel in Taiwan that is as clean as this one - well done @FargloryHotelHualien.👍 The rooms are beautifully decorated, the picture showing a palm tree is actually part of the rooms gorgeous wallpaper.🌴 The staff was at any point very kind and helpful and the food in the restaurant was also very good. The landscaped garden and pool area is also very beautiful.🐬
The only thing I would change to make the experience even better: Extend the breakfast time to 11am, it’s actually a best practice adopted by many other luxury vacation resorts.

This hotel is gorgeous with beautiful views. We enjoyed the pools, both indoor and outdoors. The staff made my children balloon swords and it made their day. The breakfast buffet is out of this world amazing. The in-house restaurants are very expensive so definitely be prepared for that. The shuttle/concierge service made travel very convenient for us.

Although the hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there, this hotel is really unique in Taiwan. It has tons of amazing amenities, especially for families, and they really go out of their way to make you comfortable.

My favorite world-class resort in Eastern Taiwan. Breathtaking ocean, mountain, and city views. Comprehensive facilities and adorable amusement park. This place will be my must-go every time I come to Hualien. Thank you all for the service!

Beautiful resort, kids paradise and ideal escape for couples or parents

Beautiful place to stay. The view is amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the dinner are out of this world! We enjoy our stay there…Highly recommended!!!!

Fantastic view with mountain and sea, great to travel with family and kids friendly, has got a kids area down stairs with all sort of activities through out the day, friendly customer service and very good atmosphere around the lobby and restaurant, very nice dinner and breakfast buffet available, little bit pricy but worth it, when you purchase ticket for ocean park you get to renter it on the second day

This place is fantastic. Brought the family here and we do not want to leave. Ever. The staff is absolutely amazing and the food is definitely up there. The water park has a few hidden gems as well, we saw some incredible shows, do not miss the one in the crystal palace!!

I want to call out the amazing customer service at the water park. My phone was in my pocket and got hit with a water hose during a pirate show. The wet phone stopped working. I brought it to the office and the manager there offered to repair it. A few hours later it showed up at my room. I was shocked at this and it was far and away better service than any place I have ever been to. Thank you mysterious water park manager!!

Our family really enjoyed this journey living at this hotel because either the quality of room or restaurant are great and awesome. To be honest, the price is worthy compared with other hotels. By the way, there are lots of tourist spots we have not ever been, maybe next time we will come here again. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
