King Tang Cafe

We ordered sandwich lunch sets (prosciutto open-faced and ham & grilled cheese) that came with yogurt parfait, coffee and chiffon cake. All delicious and carefully prepared. Staff was friendly. Love the laid-back ambiance of the cafe. After lunch, we checked out the backyard garden. Rabbits and hens freely roaming about. Very peaceful. There was a sizable collection of succulents, probably for sale as well. We had an enjoyable experience at King Tang.

Nice atmosphere. Yummy pumpkin puree toast, which is ca. 400$ with the menu. Listed as light meal, but you can see that the portion is big. Cake is fluffy and not as filling as expected, but I consider that a good thing. Egg was really hard-boiled, didn't like that. Ordering with their English check-off menu is easy.

One of the best places in Hualien! The garden is amazing, with orchids, ferns, succulents etc. along with chickens and a rabbit :) The sundae yoghurt was amazing!

Ever wondered what it would be like to have breakfast in the green surrounded by chickens and rabbits? Wonder no more! This beautiful place feels like an oasis and the food was not just delicious but also beautifully arranged.

Beautiful little cafe, very friendly and the pastries and coffee were delicious. Must be patient to get your food and drinks but they prepare everything fresh.

Just great. The food has really a high quality. Also you can order coffee from many different places in the world (Brazil, Ethiopia, Kenya,...). And the atmosphere is relaxing. You really should give it a try! We enjoyed it a lot!

Yummy and fresh food!
I had the pumpkin toast that comes with small yogurt, coffee, boiled egg. (Total of ~319 NT). The toast had a good amount of pumpkin and greens and was garnished with some nuts.

Just as a recommendation, I would have liked to have been asked the level of doneness of the boiled egg.

There is a rule that all people should consumed something.

The drip coffee I had was simply amazing! Also, really good cinnamon rolls and salads. Everything tasted so fresh! Both the indoor and outdoor seating were relaxing and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill coffee shop afternoon!

Great coffee and milkshakes. The cheesecake and lemon pie were among the best I've tasted in Taiwan. Outside it doesn't look that great, but inside it's comfortable and stylish. The shop roasts it's own beans, and the staff are friendly. Prices are a little on the high side, but it's worth it for the quality.

The feeling of this place is very pleasant, especially to escape from the hectic traffic. A great selection to coffee lovers, freshly homemade desserts, and nice staff. Prices are in the mid-range, it worth to give it a try, specially for the atmosphere. :)

Near-perfect little oasis in the middle of Hualien City. It was recommended to me by two Hualien-based friends, with good reason as it turns out. Pleasant environment, soothing music, tasty and above-average food (I tried the green curry on one visit and a salad on another), good coffee.

For a long period of time, i came here with a good friend every week. We enjoyed the coffee, space and music, because we chat a lot. Now, i don't come here often anymore, because of my busy schedule. I really miss my friend ans wish to come here with him again.

This place is amazing! They roast their own coffee and bake plenty of fantastic deserts. It's very comfortable as well. Highly recommend this spot!

Great vibes and the cheesecake was delicious! Great place for anyone who needs to do work at a cafe in Hualien.

Excellent environment, both inside and patio at back. Can sit the entire afternoon and just do some reading. Must visit 👍
