St. John Cafe Shop

Lovely places with very good coffee and awesome humus. The owner is nice and really helpful, he speaks good English and German. I recommend.

Side note: the bus station for Ephesus isn't far from here.

Good place to eat and have coffee in selcuk, fish with salad was delicious, salad dressing was perfectly used, cheese toast and coofee were good, ambience is great with all the photographs on walls and books around, must visit. Great host.

Fresh food made to order by a lovely Swiss couple. Perhaps the one and only rosti in Turkey. Good option to consider when you want a break from durum and kebap.

I had an excellent fresh salad and humus plate here. The space is very nice and quiet with free WiFi. They also have a small bookstore focusing on the regions historical sites. Very nice folks who speak English and were very helpful with info about Ephesus. It's also a two-minute walk from the bus station so the perfect before or after spot for touring Ephesus!

Lovely little cafe with short menu of fresh fare. The owner was welcoming and kind throughout. The St. John's toast (which came with a fresh side salad dressed with a tasty vingrette) and hummus plate were a welcome respite from heavy Turkish food. The seasonally available mulberry sorbet was heavenly and the seasonal fruit plate with strawberry, apricot, and loquat was tasty. All around a great lunch stop on your way to or from the Ephesus Museum or St. John's Basilica if you need a break from kebab, kofte, etc.
