The food looks simple, but they taste marvellous. Love both the dishes we ordered: Amazon Chicken and shepherd pie. Filtered coffee was best I had in Turkey! Charming place with nice owners…a gem in an ancient city

Wow! Definitely the best meal we have eaten in all of Turkey! Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic (mixed Amazon appetizer plate for two, Amazon special beef, shepherd’s delight, and chicken Amazon special) and the portions were very generous. The meze plate was fully vegetarian and there were other veg appetizer options as well. The owners were super sweet and the service was prompt. Skip the mediocre and overpriced tourist traps and have an amazing meal here instead!

Amazon Bistro is one of those places that makes you happy and glad you found it the minute you walk in. Perfection all around. Cool atmosphere under the vines canopy, intimate and friendly service, food cooked with pride and care, a delightful dinning experience in the most charming part of the old town. I will return to Selçuk just to dine here among friends.

Simple menu that is different from the usual kebabs/Turkish menu but tasted great nonetheless! We had the chicken and beef amazon. Price is very affordable. Nice homey vibe in the place. Very good service provided.

We had dinner here with some homemade pickles, delicious meat, fresh fruits and cold beer. Love the atmosphere and all the decorations here. The owner was very nice.

What an absolutely amazing lunch. The appetizer platter was all homegrown and full of deliciousness. If I could eat here, I would be a vegetarian easily. Every mouthful was an tasty experience. Even the French fries / chips were double fried and to die for. Thank you Guven for a real gastronomical treat. Highly recommended.

Wow, our tastebuds were delighted and our bellies full of delicious Shephards Delight and a beef dish. Freshly prepared, well executed meals. Without our hosts recommendation we would probably have given it a miss. So glad we didnt.

Went to dinner with the gf and really enjoyed the meal. Very friendly staff. We had the sesame chicken and the Amazon Beef Special, both are very good, though the yogurt on the special was a bit too much by the end.

This place was amazing! We were here in the winter so it was a tad quiet in the afternoon but the service was lovely, drinks- delicious. Wine- delicious. Raki- delicious. Would highly recommend. I can’t imagine what it’s like in summer where the atmosphere is very very comfortable.

The restaurant was very beautiful and food was great. We had Amazon Chicken twice, fried chicken breast with vegetables and pasta, the food was really good and home made. The chef was so nice and friendly.
