Štrbské Pleso

Awesome place with a unique blend of ambience and hospitality. Can change its looj overnight depending on the weather. Brilliant to gloomy and back. Worth a longer stay, we'll most definitely return to see it in the summer.

Pleso has a beutiful little lake with a charming walking path around it. Near Fis hotel there is a fenicular to the mountain view point above. There are also two giant very high olimpic ski jumpers.

Amazing place ! Very relaxing . The view is amazing . Done trip atrium d the lake that takes about 1 hr. We were with child trolley witch had not issue to pass with on the road around the lake.

Very beautiful and refreshing place, with a very big lake, you can do ski in the winter, canoeing, boating with 19 euros the boat, there is a small restaurant where to eat and enjoy the view.. good for trekking as well, other people go for hiking 🥾 🧗‍♀

Beautiful lake, and an easy walk around it. In terms of accessibility, there were many families with strollers/prams and walking dogs.

Honestly i was impressed and impact was similar to Morskie Oko. Absolutely morskie oko was bigger, surrounded by huge mountains and waterfall so it’s better but here is good for travellers who want to make it without hiking:D Easy to have memorable experience !

Lovely walk around a fairytale lake.
Try to get informed in advance if activities are planned in the area. They sometimes have small festivals.

So gorgeous at Lake Strbske Pleso!!! We had so much fun renting a boat and walking around. We also had the most delicious pierogies at Hotel Kempinski!

Very nice place to visit. in high season mass of tourists but also lots of souvenirs. Enjoy boat ride, walk around lake and some wildlife. Costly parking in season, free after september. No swimming as far as I know, but water is crystal clear and cold. Enjoy

Breathtaking scenery. A lot of carved figures around the lake. Clean, fresh air and beautiful nature.

You will love it in winter and in summer!

We had a wonderful stroll around this lake. The real showstopper is a hike, about 16k, into the Tatras (visit the upper lakes— Popradské Pleso and Hincovo Pleso).

Amazing location by the high Tátra

This country is beautifull, amazing views everywhere, but this place is just perfect, with the mountains on the back, the tall trees around, the lake with frogs everywhere. Amazing place

it is beautiful, and the air is so clean, it feels wonderful

Very nice place to be in summer, when you walk a bit further from the lake you will have a real nature experience, not that cultivated as in Austria or Swiss. Be aware that the weather can change completely within an hour, from nice and sunny to a big rain and thunderstorm.

One of the most beautiful mountain resorts I visited.
For old or lazy people they have a nice promenade around a cristal lake and for the active hikers/skiers u have tall rocky mountains to climb.
Prices more decent than their rich Austrian competitors.
