Strbské Pleso is more than just a small pond in the Tatras. A perfect place for hikers. Not only for hikers. :)

If you are looking for a melt-in-your-mouth meal for Lunch or Dinner, the Restaurant Al Lago inside Hotel Solisko is a perfect location. The restaurant also hosts a lovely, plentiful Breakfast Buffet, although I'm unsure whether it is open to the public or only guests. The wait staff is superlative, attentive in every way, friendly, knowledgeable and eager to please. The views of the lake and mountains from the restaurant are exquisite and relaxing. Restaurant Al Lago is a top-notch dining experience at a fraction of the cost of dining in more trafficked cities in Central Europe. You will be delighted!

This restaurant offers not only very delicious Italian food, but they have some traditional Slovakian specialities and stake with several kinds of sauce as well. Try profiterol, it was amazing.

Back and forth around European countries, We got here to this restaurant by chance as it was raining. We have been back here every night since then . Amazing food ever in Slovakia. Martin Kurhajec is the excellent head chef of the restaurant. Any food here: salad, main or desert has great taste. Recommended if anyone happens to come to Strbske Pleso.

In winter you can hardly find more romantic place to have a dinner in the stylish old hotel with a superior view on the lake and the mountains. Next to the restaurant hall there is a game room for kids attended with a nice staff. Local craft beer available.

Excellent Mediterranean and traditional Slovak cuisine located some 20 meters away from beautiful Strbske Pleso lake.
Within the restaurant is a nicely equipped game-room for children so parents can enjoy their meal while keeping an eye on their offspring.
While there is a variety of restaurants around Strbske Pleso we were visiting this one daily.

Výborná reštaurácia na veľmi peknom mieste. Ceny primerané kvalite a miestu,porcia slušná. Milá a ochotná obsluha. Výhodou pre rodiny,je veľký detský kútik s množstvom hračiek.

Měli jsme polopenzi a naprostá bomba. U snídaně výběr jaký jsem neviděl a večer 4 chodová paráda. Sem bych se vrátil. Tak dnes tady byl číšník, který si moc nevšímá a zapomíná objednané věci.

中欧の典型的なリゾート地にある小さなレストランです。テラス席で湖を見ながらの食事も良いと思いますが、この辺りは結構急な風が吹くため、中の席がお勧めです。

今回はスロバキアの友人と利用し、ビールやフルーツ入りのレモネードを楽しみました。また食事では、典型的なスロバキア料理であるピエロギ（上に揚げたベーコンが乗り、なかなか良かったです）、山羊のチーズソースのかかったポテトニョッキなどを注文しました。どちらの料理も特に味に癖はなく、結構重い料理の筈が、すんなり食べる事が出来ました。価格もリゾート地のレストランとしては、割安だと思います。

Skvele místo na odpočinek pro procházku kolem Štrbského plesa

Úžasné, jedlo bolo na veľmi vysokej úrovni, fakt odporúčam, ceny primerané lokalite. Jedlo však bolo tak chuťovo vyvážené, až som z toho ostal v šoku. Klobúk dole a ďakujem.
