Predné Solisko

Amazing views, highly recommended. Climbing from Štrbské Pleso lake took me 2h, mixing crampons and snowshoes so I could cross forest areas avoiding skis slopes. At the top of the chairlift, to reach the top, I started with snowshoes then switched to 2cm crampons after 50m : it was not icy due to clement weather in past days but crampons helped a lot with stability and when going downwards to speed up. No need for tickets if you don’t take the lifts ..

Quite accessible peak, that offers a good view around. Approximately 45-50 minutes uphill from cableway. Quite crowded.

Beautiful views, worth a climb to the top. Make sure to wear proper footwear

We get to the first village with kids. And then climbed to the top of the mountain.
It is said that the way is 37 min only, but with children it took us 1 hour and 40 minutes to go up. And around 35 minutes to get back to village.

Elevation of 2093m. Easy access via cable car to base cottage from there hiking on rocky track to the top. Can be windy and cold make sure you got the right gear for hiking.

Amazing hike! Make sure the weather forecast is good as you get to have a beautiful view on Strbske pleso.

Beautiful breathtaking scenery of a lot of nearby mountains. The final part of hiking is quite challenging but it's totally worth it.

Definitely recommended place to go to when visitting Solisko cottage. It takes approximately 30-45minutes to get there. It is rather difficult walk, but the lookouts are worth it.

Relatively easy climb in dry conditions, for beginners looking up the forecast in advance is a must though as the weather is very unpredictable.

3 times I though that I already reached the destination, but not, still some meters I should walk :) Anyway, beautiful view from the top.

A rather short but quite steep climb. Despite of this you will be awarded with great views of Štrbské pleso and surrounding valleys. We managed to get to the peak even with a 5 year old. But would not recommend it for younger kids.

Short and steep, but rather easy hike, especially if you take the cable car (then 40 minutes to the top). Wonderfull view, good shoes recommended.

Not a really techical hibe but adequate footwear is needed, a 4yo can do it from the chatta, with a few rests. P. S. Free toilet at the chatta

Great mountains, beautiful place

This is the easiest accessible peak in High Tatras. That's why it is crowded. Even at Sunday . Basically it is a good view point, but today it was cloudy.

Great climb from the end of the lift and gorgeous view to the surrounding including Kriváň mountain.

Not that difficult climb, takes about 1h and the view is rewarding.

Easy trail but very exhausted, with picturous view from the top. Quite crowded do don't expect the silence.
