Casa Cheia Capelas

This is a compact, well stocked store with a variety of food and household items. We were impressed to find everything from kitchen storage jars with rubber seals (necessary for dry good food storage in humid climate) to wedges of brie, and then bacalau in cream sauce ready to bake entree and lemon sorbet in the modest freezer section.

Prices wete reasonable, with several really good sales on many items, including produce. The produce section looked to mostly contain items you will want to use soon after buying, but the low prices makes it worth purchasing.

I took many images to translate the labels with google lens as there is only Portuguese labels and signs here. However, a sign at the register strictly prohibts photography inside the store, and so I cannot post them. Expect a no-frills warehouse type environment, bare white walls, plain displayed items on floor to ceiling metal shelves, a bread counter in back, and a cafeteria which was closed at our visit, late Saturday afternoon.

Parece que a inflação ainda não chegou aqui, pelo menos existe diferença nos preços de outras superfícies comerciais.
