Very clean waters that are cleaned regularly. You can rent a towel from them (€4) and a locker (€2), but you will have to provide €20 or a hotel card as a guarantee that you will return them. Other than that, it is definitely worth a visit. The water is very warm and nice. We went twice, day and night. I recommend going at night but it can get very busy.

Natural thermal spa in Furnas that you must visit if you want to relax and just enjoy for some time. They have 5 pools of different depths and sizes. All waters are about 39 degrees celsium. Tickets must be bought in advance online if you don't want to wait in line, but I recommend visiting it in the morning when there are no people there yet.

We really enjoyed this hot springs. We went early morning on a weekday and also visited a Friday evening during November. During the morning it’s much more quiet which was great to feel like you have the pools to yourself but in the evening it had a vibrant atmosphere. It’s very clean and the water is 39 degrees and had various types of pools. You can rent lockers and towels.

Visited early in the morning on a Saturday, just after they opened. There was only one other person in the baths. When I was leaving 1,5 hours later, still less than 10 people.
Magical place, liked it more than the lake in Furnas.

Such unique experience. Very well organized. If you are longing for relaxation I definitely recommend this place. Enjoy bathing in 39 degree water. It is good for tour health as well. The water is rich in iron and sulphur.

A must-go on a trip to São Miguel. I've went 3 times on my one week trip to the island.
Perfect to relax whether it be sun, rain, day or night - you'll walk out of these thermal baths (all at 40° Celsius) like a charm

Super cool place to unwind. Hot springs fed naturally into various pools at around 39 Celsius. The experience was very relaxing, despite being quite busy. Everyone was there to decompress.

Really neat place! The pools are great and the scenery/landscape even more amazing. Relaxing and fun experience. The ONLY thing you need to know is to reserve online prior to arrival as they only do reservations. This didn't stop us as we had a cell roaming plan but it is good to do prior to arriving.

We paid €8 for 1.5 hours. The time flies. We tried all the pools with different temperature water and we all enjoyed this place so much.

Parking lot is small, and there was a short wait to park as well as a line to get in. The visits are limited to 1 1/2 hours, and they give colored bracelets to help keep track of the time. This helped keep the springs from becoming over crowded. There was plenty of room for everyone. There were different springs to sit in, even one for the kids and those that don't like hot temperatures. There was a changing area, and they even offer towels. The gift shop had some nice souvenirs. Such a great experience, would definitely go again

This open air bath has several pools with warm water. The water comes from natural hot springs and is renovated all time. The natural setting is indeed wanterfull. It was a wonterful time that I enjoyed in the village of Furnas.

Heads off the best thermal pools on the island. We've been to all on sao miguel but to this one we came back. Stunning. It looks and feels like you are in a paradise.

I had an amazing time in these warm termal baths, the place is well maintained with 4 termal pools, showers, bathroom and changing rooms. I went with a friend, we enjoyed it very much and after we left, we had a nice soft skin! 🤩

What an awesome experience, I am so glad that we did while on our vacation!!!

Price was reasonable 8 euro per adult. We were given a glow stick bracelet to show that we paid, we also rented a locker and were given a waterproof bracelet to access it.

4 pools, each a little different, some deeper than others. Place was fairly busy but I'm not sure how busy it usually gets. It was very relaxing and enjoyable.

The resort is very clean and monitored by a security guard. The nights lights turned on while we were there, making it quite cozy. You can visit it for 1.5 hours and to me, that is enough time. I did not take my phone to the pools so I do not have photos of them.

Thank you for a fantastic visit!!!

Very popular thermal pools. We visited in October and on our way out there was a long line of people waiting to get in. Inside it was also crowded. Tickets are purchased at the enteance only. I read that the time in the pools is limited to 1 hour 30 min., but nobody was checking for this. If you rent a locker, you pay 2€ and 20€ deposit or car keys. You can also take a basket and leave your clothes near the pool. Water temperature was 39° in all pools. Overal a great place for relaxation and I strongly recommend.

It was amazing!

There is a parking lot but it is small, so kind of tough but that’s common for the island.

It’s really cool to be in a hot pool surrounded by nature!

There were different pools with different depths and one cold pool at the end!

Wanted to leave a review bc I wanted to warn all you cute instagram girlies out there that there is some sediment in the pools that may ruin your suit so wear something black or something you don’t care about!

They offer towels, showers, and lockers all for a few bucks so you don’t have to worry about that.

We went without reservations bc the other hot pools we got rejected at and we were so happy we came here!

We visited multiple thermal baths during our trip, but this was the favourite. We'll organized, warm baths, beautiful setting and easy parking. Highly recommend if looking for baths in Furnas.

One of a kind setting. A decent crowd size which I think added to the enjoyment. We loved the place.
It’s in a long dormant volcano, sooooo yes it’s incredible.
Pools were hot as should be expected. Go and be blown away.

Unlike most other hot springs I've visited (mostly in Canada & the US), this didn't feel kitschy or over touristy for a minute. You will likely have to wait, but it's worth it because they actually properly manage the number of people in there at any one time. The landscaping is superb & the whole experience was zen. Good job.
