Great local store to buy cheese, bread, jams, and other stuff. Staff is super nice and honest. Prices are NOT tourist-scamming prices. Eveeything fresh and tasty.

Amazing cheese shop. I highly recommend going in here even if you don’t want to buy any cheese, although it may be hard to resist!

Say “cheeeese” in this cozy shop packed with a wide variety of Azorean goods including speciality cheeses and wines from different islands, artisan breads, jams and fresh island grown pineapples.

We were able to try different cheeses! They have a small but delicious stock of local craft beers. This was our snack stop for our time in the Azores. Staff were friendly.

You can taste and buy a lot of different type of cheese and some other Azorean food. They are great, but sometimes it gets crowded.

An excellent cheese shop - with cheeses from across the Azores. Worthy of a visit & sampling if you are able. Busy shopkeepers as they restock the shelves, bringing in fresh produce and cheese on a regular basis. Loved this place. Come on in and see what is on offer!

Local products of great quality at decent prices.

You can get here all kind of typical Azorean products and even souvenirs. My go-to store when I travel and want to bring gifts for the family.

As an idea, here you can get the local dairies, more kinds of Gorreana and Porto Formoso tea than any supermarket, jams, biscuits, fruit, and much more.

If you love cheese, then you have to visit this place. Seriously you will be amazed by delicious local products and relatively low prices.

We've used prince of cheese since they opened. Fantastic selection of cheese from the Açores as well as produce, jams,wines and breads. They can also vacuum pack your cheese for your return flight ✈.

My go to spot to buy cheese before a trip. Large variety of regional products (cookies, wine, etc not just cheese). They are very used to selling to people who bring the products to the US and Canada and wrap the cheese in vacuum so it is easier to transport.

This is THE shop where you should buy your stock of cheese to take home with you. The very knowledgeable staff describe the qualities of their cheeses but more importantly you are encouraged to try them all before you buy. They do sell other things but really you go here for the cheeses. They seem to be open 7-days a week (unlike most shops here) so there is no excuse for missing them.

Great place to visit and to try local products! The owner lets you try cheese from different islands, they are delicious! Pineapples, local liquors, bisquits, jam, everything is worthy of trying. Just a pity you can't take it all with you :)

Absolutely excellent cheese store located in downtown of Ponta Delgada. You can try cheeses before shopping. They have a lot of cheeses from all Azores Islands. You can also buy honey, jam, tea from Sao Miquel, fresh pineapple and other products. Don't miss this place.

Great little store with wide selection of local wine and lots and lots of cheese. Free samples of cheese to help decide on your purchase given out by very friendly staff.
