Love Burgau

We found this lovely restaurant after one of our tennis mornings in Burgau. It became our go to place for a couple of weeks as we loved the atmosphere and food. Our first visit we were impressed by the sour dough brunch pizza and the recommended biancolo pizza with added bacon. The turmeric latte was a bonus as you don't find many cafe/restaurants offering this option. We love the outdoor seating and setting on sunny days 😎 ☕ 🍕 ❤

Ok, so there are those moments that you wish would become reality 24x7. Here I am in the beautiful little village of Burgau Portugal, sitting outside, Cafe style, at “Love Burgau” restaurant. It’s very warm and cozy inside and they’re playing great Christmas music, I mean good old fashioned American Christmas tunes. I decided to sit outside and relish the village atmosphere. Before me sits the prettiest little yellow house with white Christmas lights all over. The feel of this little square takes my mind to good places I’ll tell’ya. Then to top it off I just had simply the best Sliders, much less Pulled Pork Sliders that I have ever had! The photo MAY offer a hint of the loveliness within, currently warm and cozy in my belly, oh boy! From the other dishes I saw it seems whatever they touch will make you really smile. Service? We make sure we visit every time we come to this region, amazing pizza, a real cool vibe and the staff are always happy, best pizza for miles 👌

Called in for drinks as I'd heard it was lovely,ended up staying for food which was absolutely delicious, highly recommend a visit as it's not far from Lagos and such a cute and cool place

Great little place. Friendly servers, great food- we ordered 'small' plates, and couldn't finish due to the generous portions. Was a really lovely place to eat. Would highly recommend.

The most friendly and delicious pizza in Burgau!

Have you ever tried sourdough pizza? Here is a good to try something new. I love there are many topping available the affordable price. You can also do half/half. Moreover, just taking a stop and order something small with drinks is a recommended alternative too.

Wau! Amazing experience. Pizza with bacon and parmesan was absolutely delicious, and pizza <3Burgau as well. Beautiful place with cozy atmosphere. We were sitting outside and enjoying the sunset of lovely town Burgau. Thank you for that. It was really memorable and incredible.

My boyfriend and I came here 3 separate times on our stay in Burgau; once for dinner, once for drinks and nibbles and once for lunch. Every time it was really good, wide range of cocktails and the food is awesome. Thanks so much guys!

Stopped here for dinner one evening and we were pleasantly surprised the place has an amazing Happy feeling to it which is hard to describe all the staff are happy to help. The food was nice the drinks were nicer overall a great experience.

Just had a delicious lunch here. Pizza, burrata salad, tiramisu. Everything absolutely perfect. Possibly the best pizza we've had outside Naples. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very highly recommended.

We found this place by accident when we wanted to stop for lunch during the Fishermen trail - it's is right on that way. We couldn't be happier it happened)) The pizza was so delicious that we had to come back the next day after the trail!) Yeast pizza excellent as well as daiquiri. beautiful interior and friendly staff! thanks for that!

We went here 4 or 5 times and everything we had was super delicious. Especially the pizza and the homemade lemonade were great! Service was always super friendly, even when the place was very busy.

We went here more than once on our stay. Great location. Really friendly helpful staff. The decor is super creative and the food was all superb. Bergau seems to specialise in high quality restaurants.

Fantastic place with delicious food, a lovely owner and team as well as much attention to detail. I wish more places in the algarve would still uphold this mindset of offering high quality, unpretentious and familiar experiences like this one.

Amazing snacks, food, pizza and drinks. Good variety of options from chicken wings, through nachos and lasagne.

Very chilled place. Great after a walk or surfing.
WiFi and plenty of outlets for laptop work, but please move on if the place gets full.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE pizza. Complete hole in the wall restaurant. We came across on accident on the way back to the hotel and the smell immediately drew us in. The hospitality is amazing and our server, Gabby took amazing care of us. We had lovely company while dining and they informed us the food might be long, but we honestly lost track of time because we were having such a great time. I truly couldn’t recommend them enough.

Lovely place, really well decorated, nice and friendly staff and the pizza is good and not too expensive! I look forward to visiting Love Burgau again so that I can try their cocktails 😊

We had superb eggs benedit at Love Burgau, together with good lattes and excellent service. It's definitely worth a repeat.
