Quinta del Mar da Luz

A wonderful relaxing holiday destination, super grounds and views , three different swimming pool areas .
Our room was very spacious, a lovely comfortable bed, small table and chairs, little mini fridge and kettle .
Outside table and chairs and lounger.
We had bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. So much choice, hot and cold dishes .
Recommend a car to get around.

Fantastic hotel, really charming in a beautiful location. Pool was perfect for cooling off with comfortable sun loungers. The room was very clean and spacious with a mini fridge, cleaned every day. The breakfast was also really nice, something for everyone with bacon, eggs, pastries, fresh fruit, juice, cereal and my personal favourite, Portuguese tarts 😍

Very friendly staff too, would highly recommend!

Staff is super helpful and could point us to all attractions and facilities in the area. The whole resort has a very cute and romantic aesthetic. There are very nice hiking trails in the neighbourhood and the rooms are spacious. It is a 10 minute drive from Lagos.

Wonderful place big garden two pool fishermans trail walking just outside The door. Very good Breakfast. Dinners only some days but you can Wall to Luz in The evenings Or IF you want big Beach in about 15 minutes. Requires car and some own food.

Nice, peaceful hotel. Breakfast was amazing, good selection. Staff really nice.
Definitely recommend. Only downside is that it is a bit further from the beach but on car or by bicycle it is easy to navigate.

I absolutely love this place! Extremely beautiful! Be prepared, though, for firm beds. Took me some time to get used to it. Very quiet location. 15-20mins from Lagos. 5min drive to the beach. Breakfast is AMAZING. Service was great.

Very cozy, calm and quiet location yet still close to Luz, Burgau and a bigger city (Lagos). Friendly staff and always eager to help.

My partner and I stayed there for a week. The resort is very nice and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The flat was very traditional with a renovated bathroom, although a bit cold in autumn. However, that did not affect our experience.

I would recommend renting a car, as the location is very remote from the beaches and other towns.

Amazing! The room was absolutely fine but the real treat is the location and the views as well as the peace & quiet that come with it! The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful. I would recommend Car hire as without a car the location could be a pain unless you’re happy to spend money on taxis. There are some amazing walks with breath taking scenery just to the rear of the complex, 1.5km walk to burgau & 2.5km walk to praia da luz along beautiful cliffs! 100% recommend!

This is such a beautiful resort. You really can be one with the nature that the Algarve gives you. Friendly people. Clean rooms. Great views. Close to Luz, Lagos, Burgau, and many clean and beautiful beaches. Tip: rent a car and. A place you should go to! We will absolutely go back again.

It was a family trip, the Quinta is what we were looking for.

It's suitable for any travelers, solo, family, senior, friends, couple...

The area is beautiful, the view from the swimming pool area is gorgeous with vegetation and the sea.

Location is great, breakfast really good and you can eat with the sea view surrounding by this beautiful vegetation.

It's really calm, perfect to relax.

You can also go for a walk from the Quinta by the cliff.

It's easy to visit all this south west area from the Quinta, we did in 3 days Aljezur, Arrifana, Bordeira, Carrapateira, Cabo Sao Vicente, Sagres, Salema, Burgau, Luz and Lagos.

Friendly staff, very good breakfast selection, smoked salmon and a glass of fizz every morning if want it. Medium sized complex for families or couples. self contained apartments.2 different swimming pool area's. Tennis and basketball courts.Children's off the ground play area( looks fun !). Walk down through the grounds to the sea and extended walks along the cliffs. Really beautiful.

Took my family for 7nights and it was amazing. Love the 1 bed room apartment and the ocean view from our leaving room was epic. Afternoon walk along the coast line is just breath taking so relaxing and feel refresh. Would visit again.

Fantastic holiday are first time to Portugal from the room we had a little walk to breakfast area all you can eat drink fresh fruits every morning and very polite staff go out there way to move tables and chairs for you to sit together plus rooms cleaned everyday

Nice place to be,not top luxury,but Top place to be. Very helpfull and friendly personal and clean rooms.

Much space in area and many Pools there.

Georgeous little bungalows set in a stunning garden nestled on the cliff tops. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Very peaceful and feels very authentic Portuguese. 3 swimming pools and all bungalows have a private patio area.

Nice Personal, quiet place (in winter seasion) with a beautiful garden an nice places to relax. The Apartments are quite okay, dont expect too much.
Breakfast totally recommended!
Would definetly go to this place again if i would like a holiday in Algarve

Lovely place. Could do with a bit of updating. We were there for 7 days and the room was only cleaned once. Sorry but that is not good enough.

Lovely little area. Nice and quiet. Shame the hotel didn't offer evening meals but the breakfast buffet was amazing!

This hotel is a quiet gem on the algarve, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the inclusive breakfast sets you up for the day's exploring.
