NAU Salema Beach Village

Salema Beach Village is amazing! The staff is wonderful, the accommodations exceeded our expectations, the pool is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable.

We loved walking to the beach, but we were stoked to get a ride back up the hill (they offer rides to/from the beach…but the walk downhill is nice). Salema is gorgeous and the beach is idyllic. There aren’t many places left in Europe where there is a lovely combination of a tourist beach scene combined with a thriving fishing industry.

It’s very family-friendly, ideally located for nearby surf, and extraordinarily safe.

What an amazing experience we all had . I went with my wife and two children. I can highly recommend the salema village. The people at reception were very helpful and extremely friendly, on our last night , we missed the room service. I called reception and they sent a driver to pick me up from my house and take me to town, and they drove me back. Incredible service we enjoyed every day there. And the staff at the pool area were excellent too. Especially when it came to gluten-free food they cooked for us.

Gorgeous property with outstanding views of the ocean. Spacious units with 2 BR, 2.5 BA. Large, functional kitchen with all utensils necessary for a great stay.

We spent 10 days here in July. The spacious villa is ideal for a family of 4, cleanliness, privacy, ocean view, very quiet area without many tourists, ideal base for car trips around the beautiful Algarve. The restaurants by the beach are great, the fresh fish excellent. We highly recommend the accommodation, we will definitely come back.

Clean rooms, helpful staff, beautiful location. This was a wonderful place for our family of 4 to stay for 3 days. We were pleased to find everything we needed for basic meals in our kitchen and even a washing machine and drying rack. We found the buggy easy to transport us up to the pool area, the service at the pool was excellent and we had fun using the paddle/pickle court. (Additional cost for that, FYI.) The pool was not heated and was quite brisk in April, so the kids braved it but the adults stayed out. I could imagine seating at the pool could get tricky at peak season but it was not an issue in early April. Wifi worked everywhere on property, including at the pool. We loved our stay here and would happily recommend it to anyone. Also as a mention, our available parking was not directly by our unit so we had to carry suitcases up and down a few flights of stairs. Not an issue for us, but if mobility is a concern, you may want to specify a unit near the parking.

We have just returned from a fabulous 10 day vacation in the NAU salema beach village. We stayed in a beautiful spacious 3 bedroom villa with everything that you would need and cleaned by lovely ladies each day. Very professional & friendly staff on reception and amazing pool area. The area itself is very quite but great for a relaxing holiday. We would highly recommend.

We stayed here last week with our little boy. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Everything was clean and we found you didn't need a car. We walked to the beach and restaurants. At the beach Salema tours do local cave tours and dolphin tours - which are amazing. The villa provides a free shuttle bus every hour (so we timed it right) and got that back to the villa. In the evenings we just use to call for the buggy/car to collect us and they did. The villa was spacious and a lovely view. We had a lovely relaxing time. Will definitely go back and take the in laws as they would love it and would highly. recommend. Thank you for a lonely relaxing holiday and thank you for all your help and being so accommodating to us and our 2 year old.

We really enjoyed staying here over Christmas! The villas are well kept and sparkling clean!

Stayed a week early May. Loved it ! The accommodation was excellent - everything clean, comfortable beds, big kitchen, 3 loos, 2 balconies, garden and roof terrace ( we got the sunbeds moved from the garden to there - all day sun and fab views) Nice pool, slightly chilly but very bracing swims! Best of all - excellent friendly staff. Just so helpful. Had a car most of the week but also used the lift to village and back service a couple of times (the Hill was far too steep for me)We also loved the surrounding area - very pretty and unspoilt. Already considering a return visit.

it is a very quiet, peaceful and cozy place! the villa has everything you need - a fully equipped kitchen, a dishwasher, a washing machine with a drying function, each bedroom has a bathroom - with shower or Jacuzzi. There are several terraces and from each of them a beautiful view of the ocean and greenery around. the area around is very well-groomed - the paths are paved, there are parking spaces near the villa (it is best to come here by car, because the nearest bus stop and Intermarche (grocery store) is about 3.5 km from the hotel). to the ocean and mini grocery store and restaurants is only 7-10 minutes walk at a leisurely pace, but the hotel is located on a hill (during the summer, once an hour, the hotel provides a shuttle). the hotel has its own outdoor sports ground and tennis court, and in the summer there is available a swimming pool. it is very relaxing here - very high quality rest and friendly staff, we will definitely come back here! ❤❤❤ THAAAANK YOU!

Stayed here for 7 nights and loved every day there! Stayed in apartment 24 with the most awesome view and three balconies. Sun from morning to late (8pm) on the roof terrace. We had a car and could drive around, which was worth it! Some cool beaches around worth exploring. The pool and restaurant were ok. Probably better if you have kids, so we avoided the area 😂 Overall loved the place and will return!

Super helpful staff, beautiful, clean rooms, close to beach! We had a duplex, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, it was perfect for a family! We love to staying here so much, we had absolutely no complaints and want to go back every year if we can.

We visited early may out of season aa we wantwd somewhere quiet due to my teenage son having anxiety.
At the top of a very steep hill which is unpleasant to walk down and murder to walk bk up however, the service is such that u don't need to. With golf buggy to transport u down and back the staff and service arr second to none.
The room was way beyond my expectations despite being exactly what the website shows.
Only downside is no shop on site, which is surprising for a complex this size.
It's a little expensive for drinks sna ks and ice cream at the pool bar but not extortionate.
Would definitely recommend 👌

We had two villa's 99 & 100. Both were first rate. Clean and spacious. Nice views over the pool area. Service in pool bar a little slow at busy times. Steep hill into Salema, but free transport on buggy or in car offered. Returning in August, looking forward to our return.

Just got back from a 10 day stay. We had a fantastic room overlooking the pool with our very own spiral staircase to the roof terrace. Our townhouse was very spacious and modern. All staff including reception, cleaners,buggy &shuttle drivers and cafe staff were all very helpful and friendly. We hope to return

Great beach villas for a family vacation. Lots of room, clean, and was very happy to have a kitchen to cook breakfast and lunch.

Perfect value for money. Friendly service, great accomodations, marvelous views. I really enjoyed our stay and would return back.

Roomy villas with a view. We had a two bedroom villa with a full kitchen and sea view. Cleaning service each day was very nice. Short but steep walk down to the beach. Discount to rent lounge chairs and shade at the beach was appreciated.

If you want to have a worry free holiday then this is the place. On arrival we went to reception and found the staff amazingly friendly and really informative. We went to our villa #52 and walked into 5 star accommodation. This place has it all and at very high quality. If you want it then it is probably already in the villa. The rooms are a great size and the bathrooms are just big and yet again done to a high quality. The pool area is great too. It is very clean and the usual sun beds are available. If you order the food which is of a very high standard and tasty then it will probably be brought to your sunbed for you. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
The beach is great and clean but as many have said before if you struggle walking then you need to take a car and spaces are limited.
To finish. We never go to the same place twice when going on holiday but I would definitely make an exception for the place.
