I beleive this placed is overlooked given the popularity of the end of the world tip, but make sure to give this place a visit as it has stunning views and the climb down to the water is worth your time.

Lovely cliffside views. There is a small trek all the way down along the cliff.

It was a fabulous place, and an wonderful restaurant! But last time I saw, in 2009, it was abandoned, and sacked, as the cliffs supporting the East wall were collapsing! I sincerely hope they can recover it! An unique, historical place! Did Scuba Diving on the West side bay, it was fabulous too!

Nice little Fort, with stunning views on the Algarve Coastline, good weather provided. I didn't climb all the way around the Fort, just through the gate right next to the parking lot though. It's nice for a short stop and some views on the beautiful coastline, but that's about it.

A great place to enjoy the view, and a perfect detour to make when visiting St. Vincent's Cape.
Unfortunately, the inner part of the fortress is closed most of the year and opens only when a special event is occurring. Nevertheless, there is a footpath that goes all the way down to the sea (tread carefully!), and right at the bottom is where you realise the immensity and size of the typical cliffs of the area.

Small but has a fantastic view. Make sure to explore behind the walls. There is a small passage going down.

For me this has been a magical place, went back twice to just feel the energy there. Could not go into the fort (covid?) but one can get to the other side of the walls and there is a path all the way down to the rocks above the water. The color of the water is amazing and it is definitely worth a stop to or from Cabo São Vicente!

Fortaleza do Beliche .
Nature Reserve
For those who follow in the direction of the Cabo de São Vicente lighthouse very close in your left there are a fort (Fort of the Beliche) a place that is worth a detour to contemplate all this exuberant landscape of the Nature in a perfect symbiosis between the earth and the inserted sky in the Natural Park of the Southwest and Costa Vicentina.

When the wind is blowing hard off the Atlantic coast, visit the Fort of Beliche for some refuge! It is more picturesque than Sagres Fort but has no information displayed regarding it's history. Still a beautiful spot

We visited it on a Saturday and unfortunately it was close :( we explored the outer side of it and the walk down to the sea is great to warm up your blood.

I don't know why this place is not as popular as the others! It's unique because there's a path that actually goes all the way down to the water if you're up for some adventure!
