Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and good food. I really liked the filled squid with pork sausage. Also the fish soup was nice. The restaurant was calm during lunch. The dessert was also good and delicious.

We tried this cozy and typical restaurant for a light lunch with local specialties. We were delighted by the quality of the clams and by the tastiness of shrimps and season salad with goat cheese. Price are just right and the place deserves definitely more than a 4.3 stars average. Service was quick and kind. Might worth it to try it also for a more abundant dinner experience.

The shrimp and mussels are fantastic. I also liked the sardine spread that was given during the bread. The steak had a great flavor, but it's very organic or grass fed, so a bit more tough. Everything was lovely. Also, if you like sangria, you will not be disappointed.

This was a small family business which an older gentleman was taking orders, serving and cleaning up all on his own. He was super kind and generous and was a working machine! When we arrived he had (4) tables he was managing but still took his time to get us seated and started. The food was really good and authentic (as far as I could tell). Most of the people at the restaurant were Portuguese so always a good sign. We had an appetizer, soup and shared entree which all were great and felt so authentic!

Delicious lunch at this charming restaurant. Olives, tomato salad, squash soup, seafood soup, Linguine Pasta with Pesto, Almonds and Arugula. Great service and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

First time I taste octopus rice. The quality of the food is not questionable. However, for me the dish is too much. As much as I love octopus, this was not my favourite style (sure this is personal opinion). The clams were AMAZING.

The food was good, but what did it for me was the service. Not usual in Portugal to have this level of friendliness and attention from staff in a restaurant.

The grilled fish we ate had been caught within a few hours and you could taste the freshness. The Octopus rice was tasty, but the texture of the octopus was not quite right so I wouldn't say it was my best dish.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Very good food, fresh fish and a clean and welcoming place.
I recommend this restaurant, by the way we had a problem and immediately all the staff were available to help us, they really look like people at heart.

Beautiful and elegant restaurant that serves typical Portuguese courses with a modern twist, the quality of the fish is impeccable: fresh and local, I highly recommend the Octopus rice; Also there are very nice vegetarian options, the food portions are quite large but still all the food is presented beautifully. But the real gem of the restaurant is the staff: everyone is friendly and extremely kind from the servers to the owner even speaking perfect English and Italian!!

We ate the seafood rice for 2 and stuffed squid. Both of them were delicious. The place itself is very lovely and the hospitality of the owner assures that we will come back in our next trip.

Seafood rice was so tasty and the portion was huge! You should keep the lid closed for a while when it comes to the table. Let it cool down cuz our rice still needed a little bit more time when we immediately tried and after waiting a little, it was perfect.

A hidden gem of Sagres. The food is excellent, tasty and extremely fresh. The location is warm, comfortable, and very refined. We have been welcomed by an old distinct man who has been super clever and welcoming. His suggestions have been precious and accurate. His attitude has been super appreciated. A very honest quality-price ratio. Overall a super suggested location. We highly recommend it

Exceptional service and delicious seafood! We’ve tried goose barnacles, tuna steak, grilled shrimps, some appetizers, pasta w/ seafood, chocolate mousse and strawberry cheesecake. Everything was very tasty! It’s the best place we’ve found in Algarve, especially for dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Had an absolutely great experience. Went there to get some shelter from the rain, originally looking for a quick snack. In the end we enjoyed a superb fish soup (with rice). They say it's for two people, but would have worked also for three people. Friendly service completes the experience.

Super tasty food prepared with love and pride. Would recommend the seafood rice above all other dishes. The owner is amazing and super welcoming. He took the time to talk to every table and get feedback from everyone on the food, service etc. I asked him about the restaurant and he explained that it was his grandfather’s and it’s been up and running for 64 years. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service, friendly, and fast. Fish soup was great, but the crown of the day was Arroz de peixe (fish rice). Honestly, the best culinary experience I had during my visit in Portugal.

Took fish soup to share as a starter, cooked sardines and squids as main dish, algarve cake dessert to share. Spent 42€. Highly recommend. Food is great. Service friendly. We booked a table for another day directly.
