Restaurante O Chico

We had lunch today at Restaurante O Chico and absolutely loved our meal. I ordered the baked octopus, my wife ordered the fried horse mackerel, my sister in law ordered the vegetable soup and her husband ordered the fried cod. We finished with a couple of caramel custard cheese cakes (sorry no pics). Such a warm and welcoming family run restaurant… highly recommended…excellent food.

a cozy and cute little spot! we came here for lunch and loved it. i had the bread, grilled mussels and red sangria - all delicious. my friends loved the octopus and potatoes. friendly and sweet servers as well!

Great place for lunch or dinner. We stopped by for lunch and got the fried cod which came with a salad and potatoes and we also got the steak loin that came with rice and fries. The place was clean and the staff was extremely friendly.

Quiet local restaurant, the food had an homemade touch. I had the tuna steak and it was really good and not dry at all as it's often the case with tuna. Attentive and polite service, though to be fair I was the only customer at the ungodly hour I showed up for lunch. Would go back if I had more time on the island.

Home made local food, would highly recommend. 10/10. I had the cheese and octopus with potatoes and really enjoyed it, extremely tasty.

Great restaurant for local food. Super friendly and accommodating with families and small children. The grilled squid and limpets were really good. Unfortunately they sold out of the baked octopus.

We had a good bacalhau à bras. Good fast service even witha full house.

The only restaurant that was serving food and closing at 3pm. Waited 40min on a line but food was amazing and worth the wait! Polvo 5🌟
