Vila Laura

I highly recommend Vila Laura!!! My boyfriend and me had the best vacation there (8 days)!! The host is super nice and cares a lot. His recommendations for trips and hikes were super helpful! The breakfast is rather small but good and with fresh fruits and good coffee. The room was made nicely every day and everything was perfectly clean. We also enjoyed the nice garden :) The location is perfect for any trips as its really "central" on the Island. And you will stay in a real Villa!:) We would recommend it to anyone!!🤗

We loved our stay at Vila Laura! The hosts are kind and attentive and are eager to help you plan your time on São Miguel. Our room was spacious and we enjoyed breakfast each morning. A beautiful Bed & Breakfast.

Very kind host. I enjoyed my stay there a lot. I can highly recommend this place! I got help with planning my hikes, I was brought from the airport to the hotel and back, even early in the morning, and I was brought up to Lagoa do Fogo on the day of my hike around the area.

The stay was very good but beyond that, the hosts were amazing, not just friendly they actually helped prepair our daily trips giving tips and advice always lending a hand when needed, they know what to take wherever you go so we could even borrow their snorkeling equipment. Mr Emanuel even took time to personally guide us on "the best hike" of the island.

I read some good reviews about this place on bookings site and decided to stay in Vila Laura because of those. We have tried many different hotels/room rentals/airbnb before and this was definitely the best we have ever stayed in. Emanuel took us as a part of his family and cared about us during the entire trip, showing local nature, food and even helping with buying tickets, planning our hikes according to the weather every morning, taking to the airport, hiking with us and showing "no-tourist" places. We felt that he and his family are there 24h to help. The rooms were really clean and cozy with excellent cleaning and bed making every day. The place was very quite and other guests were all fantastic, friendly and respectful people. Now we have a little family on Azores. We would highly recommend staying in Vila Laura for anyone who wants to experience the holidays to the fullest.

Amazing historical house with lovely garden. Probably the nicest house in Ribeirinha. Nice rooms, very friendly owners. Good breakfast with...bell pepper jam!!! (among others)

Am wertvollsten fanden wir die super "Local-"Tips, um São Miguel auf schöne und wetterbedingt flexible Art und Weise kennenzulernen :)!

Emanuel ist ein superpositiver, freundlicher und umgänglicher Typ, der rund um die Uhr für uns da war und dafür gesorgt hat, dass immer "everything nice" war!

Nous avons séjourné 4nuits chez Emmanuel , très belle maison de 1929 et familiale. L'hôte nous a fait énormément de recommandation sur les trail et ce que nous devions absolument faire le reste de notre séjour! Merci encore ! La maison se trouve à moins de 30min de toute activité.
Le petit déjeuné est délicieux et varié !

Recomendamos a la gente que quiera venir a Sāo Miguel que se hospeden en el hotel Vila Laura, es un hotel muy sencillo pero el trato de Enmanuel es excepcional, es de aquellas personas que te roban un trocito de corazón. ¡Nos facilito todo! La llegada al aeropuerto a las 00 de la noche, los trámites con la delegación porque no esta muy claro como funciona el pasaporte europeo de vacunación, la estancia en general, en definitiva todo. Cada mañana te orientaba el planing de visitas porque el tiempo es inestable, sacaba un mapa con toda su ilusión para darte alternativas. Incluso nos hizo participe de la tradición de hacer cocido dentro de la caldera de un volcán, para que lo pudiéramos disfrutar los huéspedes.

La mayor hospitalidad posible ¡molto obrigada!

Les propriétaires, Emanuel et Laura sont incroyables ! Leurs joie de vivre et leur sourire​ sont contagieux, ils seront toujours la pour vous aider, vous indiquer les bons plans ou vous faire gouter le fameux cozido ! Les chambres sont très propres et agréables, le quartier est calme et l'emplacement, avec un moyen de locomotion , est idéal pour rayonner sur toute l'ile. En bref, une adresse a recommander sans hésiter !

Emmanuel et Laura nous accueillent dans une belle bâtisse familiale, de 1929, bien entretenue et charmante.
Vous apprendrez à faire et dégusterez le Cozido d'Emmanuel.
Les chambres sont assez confortables. Le petit déjeuner est varié.
