The food was excellent but what really stood out was the service. Our server was so friendly but didn't seem like he was trying hard to up sell us. The entire staff just really seemed to want all the customers to have a genuinely positive experience and it showed

We stopped in and we were very pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and staff. It was quite busy and the server warned us that the kitchen was a bit backed up. So we ordered wine and plates, the wait for the food was not bad and the result was very good. I got the seared tuna main and my wife got two appetizers for her main. The wine list was comprehensive and excellent.

Fantastic meal. Greeted with a drink on the house along with a taster pork belly. The rest of the food was excellent and incredible value. Our best meal on the island.

A very nice place with sophisticated food and a large choice of wines.
It is a must try if you want to have a nice dinner with your loved one !
Service was a bit slow but I'm probably probably used to fast service from the metropolitan restaurant 🥲.
Anyway , I strongly recommend this restaurant, my favourite one from the island .

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary welcome beverage. The restaurant's stunning interior complements the exceptional service and delicious food. I do not recommend ordering a mojito, though.

OMG 😱, this was heaven! Especially the Ramen with porkbelly! Also the restaurant breathes atmosphere and the staff gave it a personable touch with free bubbles, starter and a little conversation! 😀👍

Swanky place. Stone and arches, and a table in a grotto area. They welcomed us with champagne and an amuse bushe. Which was unexpected and nice. Not busy at 21:00 when we went. Wait staff were super friendly and patient with my Portuguese even though they spoke English too. All the food was great. Tried limpets for the first time and the texture and taste to me is like a clam and mussel together. The shells are really pretty. The shrimp was good too. Definitely recommend and I think this was my favorite meal in Ponta Delgada. Price is reasonable, of course so much better than US prices and especially for the quality food and atmosphere.

Great quality and price! Yakisoba was tasty even though if you expect original Japanese flavours, it's not the place to go.

Very comfort space, first - decoration - totally my taste😍 then service - polite, well manniered waitress, and at the end food - presentation 10/10, taste - it’s very subiective but for me 9/10. Prices for this quality - suprisingly low. Really recommend!

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Ponto Delgada. Well served tasty dishes, good wine, attentive service in a charming atmosphere.

We happened upon Giro on our final night on the island, and we are sad this wasn’t our first night experience! The waiter was the nicest person we’ve interacted with on this island by far. He was having so much fun teaching us how to say different words in Portuguese, encouraging us when we tried speaking Portuguese, and was so patient. Aside from the waiter being incredible, the food was by far the best we had during our 5 days here. We had starters, entres, and dessert. All came within a timely manner and were to die for. Highly recommend and this will be our first stop next time we are on the island! I hope if the staff here is to visit Vermont, United States we treat them with the same welcoming respect and delicious food that we received here.

Amazing price, and very tasty food! Waitresses are quickly and friendly! I found this restaurant very close than our hotel, so we tried once and we loved that! I strongly recommend for a dinner a Traditional choice! They have lots of options of sea food as well!!! And in the end they offer as a gift a tradicional drink in a very nice bottle!

Had dinner, chef came to table, beautifull atmosfere, the staff was verry vibe-like we had a lot of fun there :)

I read a good review about this restaurant in my travel guide and I wasn't disappointed.

The restaurant offers Portuguese or Japanese food.
We went to Japanese.

Firstly we were welcomed with a hint of champagne, nice appreciation.
We ordered gyudon and yakisoba with Portuguese cider.

The waiter were very proactive and we spend a nice dinner there.

We had an excellent dinner here, with Azorean wine, an excellent Tuna and very tender steak. The service was friendly and informal.

Probably the best food we had at Sao Miguel. Really good looking on a plate and perfectly tasty. A little bit more expensive than other restaurants, but definitely worth the money. Also interior of restaurants looks really nice.

Amazing staff and amazing food. Had the Bife Vinzia which was amazing and BrokenEgg app which was amazing …have I said yet that everything was amazing
