Had a really good fish of the day (Grouper) here. They really know how to cook seafood (the Azoreans in general). If you’re looking for an economical dinner that serves local food, this is one of those establishments. Another great value, quality, and food place! High recommendations :) price range: $

Perfect grilled fish. From 5 nights in Ponta Delgada, I ended up eating dinner here 3 of them. As owner said, this fish didn't even see a fridge - from the ocean straight to the grill. And you can taste this, fresh fish is what I was after and what I got.

Excellent place for daily lunches and dinners in the heart of Ponta Delgada. Many residents having their lunch there. Excellent ratio quality/price. Food is good and generous. English spoken and friendly atmosphere.

They have lunch offer 7.50€: soup of the day, grilled meat/fish with vegetables or french fries and salad, fruites or pastries for dessert and one drink (water, coca-cola, beer, wine, tea, coffee...).
In dinner time they have same offer with the price of 9€!
Family business and friendly service with a lot of locals all around!

Fresh fish with an onion sauce as recommended by the lady serving us did not disappoint. This is a locals place with a friendly atmosphere and excellent food.

Great food, great staff - at least when we were there 3 years ago.

Chegámos sem nenhuma referência, íamos ao desconhecido. A surpresa não poderia ter sido mais agradável, tanto mais que já lá regressámos. A cozinha é na lateral das mesas de refeição e tem duas grandes janelas, o que permite visualizar a confeção de toda a comida. Os pratos do dia são variados e feitos praticamente na hora. Comida deliciosa e fresca, excelente qualidade e quantidade, preços muito acessíveis, funcionários acolhedores, simpáticos e sempre disponíveis. O arroz de peixe estava divinal. Recomendo, sem dúvida.
