Azoris Royal Garden - Leisure & Conference Hotel

Absolutely incredible! I had a cancalled flight, and got this hotel by the airline. Even though after receiving my voucher I was at the hotel in 20 mins, they were already up to date, and incredibly helpful!
The rooms are super spacious and nice! And all of the staff members are incredibly friendly, and they help wherever they can!
The pool area is amazing as well!
And a special hats off to all those who work in the restaurant! Professionals in every sense! (I do work in a restaurant myself).

Yes, there are planes flying overhead, but you get used to it really quickly as the hotel is amazing. Great rooms and beds! Copious breakfast buffet, wonderful swimmingpools, sauna, steambath and the gym! The staff is really nice and don't forget the award winning cocktail bar (or at least, they should win one!)! The staff do everything to make your stay comfortable & luxurious, with tips and ideas for daily visits and helpful service. This hotel was the surprise of the week. Hope to be back here again.

Very clean hotel, nice eco toiletries, nice sauna and pool, breakfast option were good enough, we also loved the interior Japanese garden. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it

Was only here 1 night because SATA airlines cancelled our flight (seems to be VERY common for SATA). Hotel was very clean, very comfy, and had great food and drink. Location was very quiet but was an 10-12 min walk to the town center.

Spend my birthday week on this amazing island, and the hotel choice couldn't be better, everything spot on.
The hotel is stunning, such great vibe and design, we were lucky to get top floor with sea view, the rooms are incredible stylish and clean. The breakfast is definitely the best in town, so much to choose from and the food is delicious. Pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, definitely a plus in our stay.
Big shout to Fabio Santos, Emanuel Correia, João Raposo and João Botelho, great staff members, always happy to help and definitely going above and beyond, to make sure our stay was the best we could have. Also housekeeping team, the room was spotless all the time.
We are definitely coming back

I have nothing but absolutely amazing things to say about this hotel. I spent hours comparing different hotels in the area and reading reviews across google and TripAdvisor, and if you are doing the same I suggest viewing this review as a sign to just book this hotel asap!

The whole hotel is amazingly clean and the rooms are updated and modern with extremely comfortable beds. It also seemed like a good majority of the rooms came with a balcony. The amenities are great - the indoor pool, jacuzzi, and the wet & dry saunas were heavenly after a long day of exploring. The outdoor pool was also great for relaxing (towel cards are provided to easily get new pool towels daily), and there is a tennis court available as well (unsure if the hotel can provide equipment, I never asked) and bikes to rent. There is covered parking with enough spots for all the guests and easy in/out access with your hotel card (I never saw it totally full). Make sure you book directly via their website as parking will be free & included if you book direct.

Breakfast buffet had a great spread - eggs, potatoes, cheeses, bacon, pancakes & other pastries, local jams & delicious juices, and fruits. I tried the restaurant for lunch while waiting to check in, and the sesame tuna was perfectly prepared and so delicious.

Location of the hotel is great too. You’re within a 10 minute walk of the town center and all the restaurants and shops, and it’s very easy to get out onto the roads to explore the rest of the island. Also stellar service from everyone I interacted with along the way.

Truly a wonderful hotel and quite honestly closer to a 5 star hotel than 4 star, in my opinion.

Flight was cancelled and the airline sent me here. Boy, they sure know how to make amends. Looking forward to dinner in the dining room tonight.

I stayed there with my grandma for a week, the room was great, just too bad we could hear the baby next room yelling at night, but otherwise the spa was good, and breakfast too! Everything was great! Couldn't get a better hotel for the value I think!

Everything was perfect during our stay (early Febuary). The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the interior design,... Highly recommended!

The hotel is exactly as it appears in photos. Very quiet for sleeping, excellent amenities, rooms are very clean. Staff are helpful and available at all times. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices. I used the parking garage which always had spots available. Great location, walkable to downtown. Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

One of the best experiences. We arrived super early and the front counter staff had no problem letting us check in 3 hours before the actual check in time , something most hotels won’t even consider . Are rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast could have a few more options but overall a very nice place to stay . Close to almost anywhere you needed to go . The airport was super close and planes were heard often but it wasn’t a negative thing… would definitely stay here again

Excellent service. We were exhausted from our flight and they let us check in early. This was unexpected and were so grateful! The rooms were clean and modern. The location is great- very close to the airport and walking distance from the city center. The breakfast selection was pretty good. The only negative thing is you have to pay $9 euros for parking. This is not something we had to do anywhere else.

Enjoyed our stay in this hotel for a week in Nov. 2022. Breakfast choice was very good. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Parking space for our rental car inside the hotel. Staff helpful. Cleaned our room everyday. It was our first time to visit Azores. Very memorable. Highly recommend this hotel. Please be aware that the birds can wake you up at around 7 am but it was just a very nice experience

Such a nice hotel! They provide whatever service you can think of. Very friendly people. Location is in the heart of the city center of Ponta Delgada. The pool is huge, the gym is very clean and extensive for a hotel.

We had a great stay of 10 nights at this hotel and we would come back any time. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with lots of fresh and mostly regional food and the service there was perfect. The bed in the room was comfortable and, despite the vicinity to the airport, it was very quiet during the nights. We also enjoyed the spa facilities which appear to be a bit older, but clean. There is also a garage belonging to the hotel where guests can park their car for 6€/day which is very convenient.

We had a great stay in the hotel, the breakfast offered all kind of options and it was delicious and fresh. For Dinner Buffet was offered for 25 Euros which was also nice. The staff was great, the rooms were very clean. We liked a lot also the fitness and wellness area even though the jacuzzi could be a bit warmer maybe even though it is already quite warm. The bar in the hotel also offered lots of drink and cocktail options.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 night and 5 days and I was very impressed by everything. Staff are very helpful and responsive. They helped me reschedule my ticket with airline, booked my tours and gave me lots of good tips where to go. The room I had was nice and quiet. Pool and gardens are amazing. The spa was nice too. The only point of improvement would be to change the breakfast. Thank you for the nice hospitality in the Azores

An jewel inside town. Reception well decorated and educated staff. Fast check-in and out. No problems generated by the staff that try to comply with what you wish.
Restaurant is quite good. There is space for a improvements in the kitchen. Staff highly educated and attentive to all the customers. Breakfast is in tune with a 4 star hotel. Formation of new staff members should be revised in order to avoid confusion of a customer request.
General areas are well clean and fabulously decorated in aligned with the hotel name. All spaces are well illuminated. Rooms are well decorated, light is superb, air condition without any problems and view from balcony for the interior garden is quite relaxing.
