Paid two visits this week .... Sunday lunch and "pie night" (Tuesday). On both occasions, the meals were lovely, both plentiful and very tasty. The service was very efficient and the beer and wine very good also. Great value for money! We'll be back.

We enjoyed the Sunday roast a few weeks ago with friends and family. We returned as a couple for the Tuesday pie night.
All the meals were terrific, meats were tender and moist, the gravy plentiful and delicious. Tomato soup was very good and not salty, tasted homemade and fresh! Desserts were great too. Beer and wine selections were also excellent!
Prices were definitely reasonable.
I highly recommend The Pigs Head for high quality comfort food!

I have know the owner since we met in Amsterdam 1981 . I'm a solo traveller and came to see Rotten and Pat in 1993 . The bar was open in those days but the way it is now . I stayed in one of the rooms with my friend Sam . And every day we did something different . He took us to a castle in silvas . One of his friends took Sam and myself fishing . There was a birthday party a 40th . So we helped washing all the tables and chairs and getting all the drink bought for the party . What a party . I enjoyed it so much that I still remember my stay there fondly . Thanks for the memories .

Great traditional Sunday roast (lamb, beef, pork, chicken, veggie) & exceptional value. Lemon cheesecake divine! Apparently the banofee pie & chocolate fudge cake were too!
Only problem on this visit was the pool needed cleaning. Couldn't swim afterwards

Beware ! It's like a Tardis inside ! Lot's of space with different dinning area's. Sit inside near the roaring log fire or if the suns out sit in one of the outside area's. If it's very hot take a dip in the swimming pool. Goid food menu and big selection of beers, wines and cider. Very friendly owners and staff too.

A must for Brits on tour who need their sports fix. Good British food and a landlord who is quite often as controversial as a nuclear weapon. Outdoor pool and hog roasts in summer and live entertainment throughout the year.

Cracking food, came for BBQ & Band last night. Here again for Sunday lunch. Excellent service, beautiful food send fabulous staff. Highly recommend. :-)

Superb traditional English pub serving Sunday lunches and a full menu on other days. The place to watch football, rugby, cricket and boxing in the western Algarve.

Fantastic BBQ. Excellent selection of food and plenty available. Good choice of beers. Live music and live sport. Great evening.
