Churrasqueira das Cardosas offers probably the best grilled chicken I've ever tasted. You have the option to choose your preferred level of sauce or spice, and they even provide takeaway rice and other dishes. While the desserts are a bit too sweet for my taste, overall, this is the place to indulge in the famous Portuguese grilled chicken.

Best chicken piri piri in Portimão. Gets busy at lunch time so be patient. Sometimes we order something that doesn’t get to the table but we still go back. We eat here at least once a week, so we recommend it.

I've been coming here since a child (and I'm not even from Portugal). Its very simple, but absolutely excellent. Delicious chicken. Don't expect a heck of a variety, it's not about that - it's about chicken!
Good for groups, families or couples. Just remember the funny operating hours in Portugal. Closed from around 3-7pm usually. Kiepenboer :)

The best chicken piri piri

An amazing little grill & bar. Spent ages in here as a family and we ate very well. Staff are fantastic. Food is awesome. Highly recommended if you are near Portimao in Portugal. This is a favourite with the locals, can be very busy. Offers take away or sit in. Taxi rank outside shopping centre 100m away.

My visit was well rewarded with a very pleasant restaurant, nice decor and good service. I had a very nice piri piri chicken with salad and french fries and the portions generous. I was very pleased with the value and that was obvious because of the number of diners and the very busy takeaway business. I will return when I'm next in Portimão

Another amazing churrasqueria. Staff and customer service is very good. Be sure to arrive (be seatted) before 9pm as kitchen close at 10pm and for sure it is very busy.
