Pingo Doce Portimão - Recomar

Do our shopping here as we are at the Marina in Portimão. I love the Cafe here which had many choices of buns. And l love that you can actually buy a hot lunch with many options. Oddly, the security guard didn't like me taking photos and made me delete some.

Nice store in a good downtown location. Snack bar is very popular with a nice daily menu. Don't know about parking. It is a large walk-in crowd.

Nice Store . You can eat anything. There are Tables and seats and Toilettes.
Big supermarket With frech seafish and a little hyperpharmacie.

It's usual pinga dose like the other ones in Portugal. Size wise it's big compared to the once I always go. Since I was a tourist in portimao I have visited dis place only twise. Price I always same in pingadose, but compared to German brands like aldi and lidl it's cheap.

Large store, you get all households and fresh fruits. Easy to commute and have plenty parking.

Great supermarket, has a cafe/restaurant inside and self checkout. Good mixture of local and international goods

Great lunch choices (grilled sardines with a bottle of white wine in a super market, who would have thought!), very cheap prices. Don’t overlook supermarkets when travelling, they often have amazing and cheap food!!!

Fantastic variety and store own brands very cheap and tasty..the supermarket was clean and tidy staff Very pleasant we tried Portuguese and they kept speaking in English 😅

Excellent choice of fresh produce!
The on site restaurant is amazing and reasonably priced; everything is cook to order so you know that you are getting fresh food, which you can also watch being prepared if you fancy.
There is always Pizza, Salads, Steak and fish on offer all cooked fresh.
It was so good that we came back two days in a row! The staff are very friendly as well which is always a bonus! 😊

This place is fab if you're on a budget. If you're English its like a Morrisons Cafe, but better. You can have a freshly cooked pizza with 4 toppings of your choice, enough for two. €4! Steak,chicken pork or fish cooked to order with veg, rice, potatoes. Or a traditional meal €4. Bottle of beer €1 or wine€2. All the locals eat here. Lunch or evening. Open until late. Been here 4 days and eaten here twice! Well done. Quality and value.

Very pleased to see the variety and quality of fruits, vegetables, breads, meat and fish. The prices are also a treat as there are some very good bargains. They also have a small pharmacy and a deli counter and restaurant area. One of the checkout lines is for people with special needs. Also there is a parking garage if you come by car.

Same as always very slow service. Had to go through the tills and sit down then go back to the checkout as cannot stand for long periods.
