Jupiter Algarve Hotel

Overall, this property most definitely exceeded excpectations for the price paid; very good value!
Liked · Room was very nice, amazing view! We ate breakfast daily and had the dinner buffet once; food was great and accommodating to specific dietary needs (diabetic). Location was great; convenient to many amenities.

Disliked · No wifi in the restaurant, coffee in the room wasn't replaced daily and though we hung towels, they were replaced daily rather than allowing reuse.

We’ve tried the chief’s buffet here and it was such a good decision! There was a great selection of food. You have multiple starters, main courses and dessert. Fresh fruits as well. We’ve been here in December, so not the best season for sea food, but still were able to taste some fish and mussels.
The atmosphere is nice, service excelent. I would come back definitely :)

A very well placed hotel on the South coast of Portugal, within spitting distance of the beach and lots of local amenities. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped, comfortable rooms with amazing views. A lot to try out, from the outdoor pool, the indoor spa, the hotel restaurant, as well as the bar serving snacks, lunch and cocktails.

Staff are incredibly friendly and pleasant. Especially Marcelo at the bar. Legend!

The hills to the beach are steep but nothing they can do about that😀

Lovely hotel overlooking the sea. Clean and spacious rooms with great views. The staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was very clean and spacious and the food was excellent. All in all a great hotel in a fantastic location

Lovely,clean,quiet hotel.Very friendly staff.Big choice of delicious meals for breakfast and dinner. Close to beach and shops. I can highly recommend this hotel and would happily go back there😊

Wonderful stay we had a gorgeous ocean view room. Carlos at the reception desk was fantastic for directions, dinner recommendations or for any information you need. Would definitely return.

The best place to stay in my opinion.
The staff are friendly and helpful, with only one letting the team down.
We arrived and decided to check out the facilities, I wanted so much to see the spa and arrange some time there.
I was greeted by a hostile lady.
I wasn't allowed to see the place ,even though it was empty with no guests booked in.She was helpful to suggest some sessions, though,and explained the guest discount.
Needless to say, I didn't bother after that.
That said, it didn't spoil my stay .I loved every minute.
I enjoyed the location, just next to the gorgeous beach.
The pool was stunning, clean, and inviting .
The entertainment in the evening was just right. Everything was just perfect. I will be booking again for next year .
The WiFi is very good, which isn't always the case I find with most hotels.
I can't fault the quality, atmosphere or attention to detail the staff demonstrate very day.
It is a wonderful place ,which made me a wonderful holiday.
I didn't use the gym ,but my son and grandson were extremely pleased with the area.
I have no hesitation in recommending.

The location is great, and service is spectacular. I stayed at the hotel next door last year and their rooms are better. But the view from the Jupiter was better 👏🏽 😍 🙌🏼
I also had a scrub and moisturizing session at the spa it was worth it!! I would highly recommend it.

Excellent hotel located in the picturesque and beautiful urban inland town of Portimão.

During my one week stay at the Jupiter Algarve Hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed taking in the breathtaking views overlooking the beach from my balcony, sitauted in the premium superior room which was worth every penny.

I seriously can't fault anything about this hotel. It was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed at and the food served at the bar and restaurant was brilliant. The restaurant features a buffet style with a plethora of options to cater all ages and types of people.

The pool area is fantastic and the perfect size for both adults and children to use. It's also cleaned by the hotel staff daily to ensure maximum hygiene.

In addition to this, there is also a good selection of sun beds scattered around the pool area. I easily managed to get a sunbed in a perfect spot each day during my stay.

The hotel also has a fully equipped gym with a wide range of high quality cardiovascular and strength equipment. I used the gym on multiple occasions and it was great way to maintain my training and fitness while on holiday.

All the staff at the hotel are very friendly and approachable. If you require any assistance you can always speak to someone on reception and they will assist with any queries that you may have.

I would also like to thank the cleaners at the hotel who do a fantastic job day in and day out ensuring that the hotel is clean and spotless for vistors. Rooms are cleaned everyday to a very high standard which is an additional bonus of staying at the Jupiter Algarve Hotel.

If there was one slight improvement for the hotel moving forward, I would suggest better entertainment in the evening. Instead of the same music acts performing each night, there maybe could be something different tailored towards all audiences.

I am already looking forward to booking again next year, to stay at the Jupiter Algarve Hotel for another fantastic and memorable summer holiday.

Always wanted to stay here and so glad that we did! Location is key and lots of little cal connections to travel around. Been be visiting Rocha for years and just as good as ever.

Good hotel. Excellent staff. Great location if you want to be beach centre.

Can’t comment on rooms as we just have drinks & snacks by the pool. Generally served by Marchello who couldn’t do enough. He says “you sit- I work” if you try to bring drinks from the bar to a table

Struggle to find any fault with the hotel. Great location, a stones throw from restaurants, bars and the beach. Lovely pool, though other guests do start putting towels out before 7. 😠 Comfortable rooms.Decent breakfast. We used the spa twice, which is top draw. What really stood out, was the staff. Always service with a smile. If we come back to the Algarve, this is where we will stay.
