Azoris Faial Garden - Resort Hotel

A little corner of paradise to languidly frequent! The establishment is located in the middle of a green space with private parking for all, the services are those of a real 4-star hotel, and you can reach the port in a few minutes on foot (to go up, it's longer :p) The rooms are clean and spacious, a nice terrace with a view of Mount Pico. The staff are pleasant. Congratulations to the whole team !

Our hotel experience at Azores Faial Garden was really lovely. The service was so friendly and helpful, they really go out of their way to make your stay easy-going and enjoyable. The room was nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. It doesn’t have the frills and new-looking furniture that you get at some hotels, but you won’t miss it here because everything is comfortable and clean. The pool(s) were really nice, water temp was perfect to cool off. Lastly, the view here takes the cake. You’re looking directly at Pico, the volcano on the neighboring island of the same name. Overall, we loved this hotel for its location, views, comfort, and excellent service.

Located in an historical building 10 minutes walk to the harbour. Room was lovely with a balcony, (no view) clean & well appointed. Breakfast was super as was dinner in the hotel. The staff were great and helpful.

My partner and I greatly enjoyed this hotel. We stayed for a week. The rooms are decently appointed, however, it would be nice if air flow was slightly better. There is a/c, however, there is not much air flow. Other than that, we both loved the complimentary breakfasts. Hotel employees were very nice. Finally, the property is beautiful. We both spent time at the pool facing Pico. We will gladly come back here again.

Nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good selection of food in the restaurant including range of local produce such as cheese and sausage which must be tried. Selection of wines from nearby island Pico also worth trying.

Such a wonderful find for an unexpected stay in Horta due to weather. Thanks to this place the sudden change of plans became a gift of fate - friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, but most importantly for me - hot sauna with cold infinity pool outside. It was such a great way to relax and recharge!

Last but not least was a dinner at the hotel restaurant. The service was above and beyond, very attentive and courteous. The food (I had tuna steak) and desserts were fantastic. I didn’t expect it to be that good, so it really exceeded my expectations.

Relaxed, well fed I slept like a baby and was ready for adventures next day.

An old charm in the center of Horta. Location is perfect to explore the city of Horta. Parking was abundant and the footpath access to the town by the pool will have you in the main part of town in minutes (do not rely on Google on walking time from hotel to town center).

Breakfast was great and the view of Mt. Pico made waking up even better. Thank you for the warm hospitality. Hope to return one day.

A very lovely hotel with a nice history. Well equipped, renovated rooms with a daily cleaning service. Good selection of toiletries, really handy. Delicious self-service breakfast with a great range of food. If you're vegetarian and you'll let the hotel know about it in advance, they'll make sure you'll have a proper breakfast. You can't leave hungry ;) I'd just recommend changing coffee type - powdered machine coffee is not the tastiest one... Very kind and professional staff, always ready to help :) Wellness center with sauna works 8:00-20:00 every day which is a great plus! Thank you for a marvelous stay :)

Really enjoyed our stay here - the rooms are very nice and have lots of natural light and a view of the harbour (at least ours did). There's refurbished seating areas and a nice dining area overlooking the outdoor pool and harbour too. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool, and the sauna and steam room were great.

The staff were very friendly and made sure we had a comfortable stay, helping wherever possible. There's good parking close to the hotel and it's a short distance from the town.

Loved it here...nice room with a wonderful private terrace. Both indoor and outdoor pools were lovely and enjoyed the sauna and steam room too. Incredible views of neighbouring Pico and so conveniently located. The daily breakfasts were delicious and the fresh succulents on each table was a nice touch. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Hope to visit again.♥

This place is not cheap and you get what you pay for. At a significant price my room was amazing. Breakfast buffet ok but I always prefer cooked to order.

Wonderful atmosphere, right in the center of Horta. This hotel was the first US consulate, ever,. Established in the 1780s by Charles Dabney, our rooms were in converted officer quarters, an very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lovely, with a little something for every taste, and the fastest coffee machine I've ever met! One dinner experience was married by a harried and somewhat inattentive maitre' d, but another was pure pleasure. Being able to see the harbor and then reach it in 5 minutes was a great plus.

Did some filming for a TV doccie there. The staff were so friendly & accommodating and the place has spectacular views.

Quiet place set very close to Horta.

Great location for those on foot or who have a car. Excellent breakfast, hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool. Comfy beds with a mini fridge and kettle in the room.

Somehow i think we lucked into the best room on the hotel, room 237. Large, nice, regular balcony plus huge additional balcony, view of Pico over the marina, also view of Horta. Very nice staff.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance to many waterfront restaurants, cafes and shops.

The place is really lovely. Beautiful gardens, beautiful overview to Pico!
The breakfast is good and good service.
